Most atheist seem to believe in aliens. In fact some atheist go as far as to to think we where created by aliens.
Eh, not really. Believing in aliens doesn't make more sense than believing in God since there is no real evidence supporting the existence of either. The only thing really supporting a possible existence of alien life lies in barely-scientific statistics (consider the number of stars and planets in our universe etc..).
Well there's more evidence of God than aliens
Hahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahahhahaha..... Edit ahahahhahahahah
Well there's more evidence of God than aliens
No there isn't. There is no evidence of God, there is no evidence of aliens. There's grainy footage, bibles, korans, claims of religious epiphanies, alien abductions. All these things amount to the same. Nothing.
Well there's more evidence of God than aliens
Not really. Please elaborate if possible.
Well there's more evidence of God than aliens
Just a 1200 pages book, and the human itself.
Well there's more evidence of God than aliens
There is zero empirical evidence for god or anything supernatural, this makes belief in them instantly retarded to the point where I can't even comprehend why any sane person would believe in such things if they actually examine their beliefs. However, alien life cannot be held to the same level of scepticism because... we are life in this universe, life has existed here for around 4 billion years and has withstood several gigantic meteor strikes and still remains. We know life can form because it has here, and we've discovered hundreds of planets outside of this solar system, some of which have orbits leading to similar conditions to which we have here, and given the amazingly massive size of this galaxy with its 300-400 or whatever billion stars, most with likely many planets, in a universe will trillions of galaxies, the odds of there being another planet out there that's practically identical to this one is likely very high. That doesn't even include the possibilities of life as we don't know it, I'm sure there are many ways life can form that we haven't yet discovered. So while we cannot say for certain there's alien life(that is, bacteria and up) outside of this planet, I imagine the probability of it is very close to 1. However, positing that there could be a sentient entity that exists outside of time and space and created the universe without needing to be created itself makes no fucking sense so the probability of such a being existing is 0.
Just a 1200 pages book, and the human itself.
That's not evidence of anything. That's like saying that the Harry Potter universe must be real because the books and brooms exist. I think 2 + 2 = 5. Just because 5 is a real number and exists doesn't mean that it came about by adding 2 and 2.

You cannot believe what anyone says, we do not know, simply as that... But you can choose a path, and I've chosen the path of science. Sorry Jesus!

I'm going to speak of all of FP when one of these threads are posted We don't give a fuck
Sorry, but that doesn't make much sense at all. Ants are just smaller living things than we are, but your "god" would have to be much bigger than we are, but we know all the bigger animals aren't god.
wat?
I wonder if she knows how stupid she looks saying stuff like that
I think she got lost and ended up in a porno... I'm actually pretty certain that it's exactly what that happened!
If it's nothing then why do you fight so hard to disprove it.
I'm not fighting to disprove. I'm fighting to inform.
There is no concrete evidence that God exists. There is also no concrete evidence that God doesn't exist. God is therefore a true, unsolvable mystery.
I don't believe in God But i believe every man/woman has a spirit Including animals
I don't believe in God But i believe every man/woman has a spirit Including animals
This is what fascinates me a bit, what makes you believe in spirits? I'm not mocking or anything, I want to know when you decided that spirits were real? What made you think this way?
Ants
Doubtful. If a Being was so powerful as to be called God, then he would likely not be limited in his awareness by the comparative scale of other entities. He wouldn't be the definition of God if he didn't know anything about those "ants."
Survival of the fittest. Evolution. That I do believe in.
This is what fascinates me a bit, what makes you believe in spirits? I'm not mocking or anything, I want to know when you decided that spirits were real? What made you think this way?
The universe was formed out of energy (AKA big bang) Spirits are pure energy Something had to be before the big bang, that's why i can't wait untill they launch the LHC and find it out + it makes me feel more comfortable.
Aliens are in the same boat as god as we know it, no evidence for either. However if you consider the size of the universe (Which I don't think any of us can really do) It's pretty unlikely we are alone and to say aliens don't exist is fairly short sighted.
Stop replying to everything.
Stop replying to everything.
ok
dumb hypocrites denying god and calling themselves atheists then celebrating christmas
dumb hypocrites denying god and calling themselves atheists then celebrating christmas
I don't know of one atheist who celebrates Christmas. Doesn't matter anyway as most people use Christmas to celebrate gift giving rather than its original purpose.
