im going to need some tissues [editline]6th August 2012[/editline] oh god i cry every time ;_;
Max Manus: Man of War The whole movie was full of sadness
i just watched moon im crying
I didn't cry but I felt a bit broken after seeing the ending of Atonement. I really don't want to post it because it needs the rest of the movie.
you kidding? if you really think about the entire situation there's no hope whatsoever. there was no hope from the beginning, middle or end. the movie is really god damn sad
i don't relate to a [sp]clone[/sp]'s emotion so i don't get it. [editline]6th August 2012[/editline]
Are you serious Like for real bro The man learns that [sp]not only is his whole life a lie, everyone he ever loved or knew is not allowed to ever see him again[/sp]. How is that "kiddie sadness"
again, a [sp]clone[/sp]'s emotion means less to me than a real [sp]human[/sp]'s. [editline]6th August 2012[/editline] it is a depressing movie, i agree. but in all realness, it's more how space symbolises emptiness to me. unlike say the start of Alien where they're all eating breakfast after being asleep for months. [editline]6th August 2012[/editline] it had that tone throughout, so I'm not sure the way Moon finished was quite much of an intense shock.
I cry at Rutger's monologue at the end of Blade Runner.
i don't relate to a [sp]clone[/sp]'s emotion so i don't get it.
then i guess that's the really juicy deep part of the movie. tl;dr whether you're prejudice against people [sp]grown in tubes from genetic material or however the fuck they cloned him[/sp] or not
Gets me every time.
I cry at Rutger's monologue at the end of Blade Runner.
Who doesn't?
i don't relate to a [sp]clone[/sp]'s emotion so i don't get it. again, a [sp]clone[/sp]'s emotion means less to me than a real [sp]human[/sp]'s.
I don't understand this. [sp]The fact that he was a clone completely stopped you from relating to a character? What the fuck? Why? You sound exactly like the CEOs in the movie.[/sp] [editline]9th August 2012[/editline]
it had that tone throughout, so I'm not sure the way Moon finished was quite much of an intense shock.
It wasn't supposed to be. It was just emotionally strong.

I already understood what you all felt prior to even posting and an element of that happened when I watched it. Don't make it seem like I'm inhuman for not weeping tears that a [sp]clone's[/sp] miserable lonely life doesn't have a ridiculously deep effect with me. I admired more how accurately it portrayed the empty atmosphere of space. That emptiness lead me to think this character was empty inside and in the end it proved my initial feelings. These aren't facts, they're my experiences.
I cried like a baby.
:(
pretty much every time the music starts playing. [sp]Especially the part where Obi Wan tells about Anakin being the Chosen One[/sp]
Moon's ending. It's has a both strong, yet really sad scene play. The mix between the "former" (ill) Sam crying in the moon base and the normal Sam, going home in a vessel scene really gives me something that's really hard to describe. Also, GERTY.
Moon was fantastic, especially for an independent. You'd expect it to not have a huge budget, and they work with that in a very nice way.
Fuckin gran Torino man. I was there with my grandpa (we have a thing of seeing Clint Eastwood movies) He was a Vietnam vet, so that didn't help with the crying. But that ending man, i was trying to hold back tears and I glance at my grandpa and I lose it. Amazing movie ;_;7
Not a film, but this really got me. Wasn't expecting it from fresh prince.
Stand by me. I wasn't crying, but the [sp]ending is pretty much depressing[/sp]
It was the song at the end that got me.
I'm glad you guys have mentioned Moon it's an amazing film
Not a film, but this really got me. Wasn't expecting it from fresh prince.
that's true sadness, not Moon/Star Wars sadness.
that's true sadness, not Moon/Star Wars sadness.
go back to the music section

lost i'd like to say that i loved lost to the end. i loved the ending and i think at the very least liked every episode. but at the very most come the sad parts. pretty much anyone can die in this series. you can't expect it, there is no pattern to it happening. main character deaths are rampant, and a lot of the time, in fact most of the time their deaths or causes for death are spontaneous. on the island it's almost like premeditated murder is surprisingly low on the list of causes of death (and the spontaneous death is the number one killer). well at least in the first few seasons. why this all comes to mind is because i'm rewatching the show. and i'm noticing things i hadn't the first time. [sp]like the fact that "john locke" gets two separate people to kill two people "john" hates more than anything in the world because he himself cannot do it[/sp] [sp]right now i just saw juilet fall down the tunnel magnetically pulled by the chains wrapped around her waist.[/sp] i was just like "NO, STOP IT, STOP THE DON'T LEAVE ME SHIT, YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME CRY AT THIS SCENE AGAIN". i didn't. but during the rewatch i'm pretty sure i got misty at least once. there are so many moments like above, especially in season [sp]5[/sp]. it's one of the most heartwrenching seasons out of all of them probably. it's like every episode there's something insanely sad or macabre thing that a character has to do or go through that's absolutely terrible. also [sp]jin and sun's death[/sp]. i thought it was almost unnecessary, it felt like a fucking kick in the balls because i loved them and their story so much... and i've noticed ben and john are very much alike. they are both pawns tricked into believing they are special and are both insanely manipulative. and both very much have some kind of neurosis they feed with obsession. [editline]10th August 2012[/editline] I just want to know why jacob said what he said to ben at the end of season 5.

I cried at the Disney version of Tarzan when he saw his family photo. But I think I was 3-5, and since then no movie has actually made me cry. Sad is another thing. Got a little torn up at the Toy Story 3 ending. Ha.
The end credits to Shutter Island. When left to ponder the ending to this music, tears just welled up in my eyes.
I watched this in middle school when I finished reading the book and it took a lot of man power to hold back the tears. It's Of Mice and Men if you haven't seen the movie or read the book and don't want a spoiler. 30 seconds in and I'm feeling it again :(
The ending of TDKR. Make that the whole movie in general was just one long process of drawing my heart out my tear ducts
When Bruce Willis dies at the end of Armageddon, I cry like a little bitch.
