Too bad Jethro Tull beat them to the whole "flute in rock and roll thing". Amazing band though, all though Ian's flute playing is still far more impressive then Thijs van Leer's.
What about Peter Gabriel's flutery?
Give this a listen.
Just listened to Moonmadness by Camel and skjdlkJEKLJlkj" I'm blown away!
Going to give this a listen on recommendation. :3:
What about Peter Gabriel's flutery?
There is no one who is better (at the flute) then Ian Anderson. End of discussion. :smug:
Which king crimson albums should I get?
Which king crimson albums should I get?
All of them. Every. Single. One. Or you can go with "In the Court of the Crimson King", "Larks' Tongues in Aspic", and "Red" just to start out with.
Which king crimson albums should I get?
In The Court of the Crimson King is a must have for any real prog fan.

Any Jethro Tull fans here that have listened to more than just Aqualung and Thick as a Brick? You guys seem to give off the impression that those are the only two Tull albums. :v: If you haven't, I could give some reccomendations. :3: (Sorry if any of that sounded patronising or negative.)
In the Court, Larks, Red, Starless in Bible Black, Discipline.
I friggin' love Discipline. It sounds so different from anything I've ever heard before!
Just listened to In The Wake of Poseidon for the second time. I absolutely adore it now, the first time I heard it I wasn't impressed. :psyduck: Definitely one to look out for, although the styles are similar to the debut it is very different in composition and I would say in ways more explosive. :smug:
A Passion Play, Minstrel in the Gallery, Songs from the Wood, Heavy Horses and Standup.
Dear God, you just listed my top 5. :psyduck: Wait, Benefit too. Make that a top 6.

Also, read this to figure out the meaning to the dark lyrics to A Passion Play http://www.ministry-of-information.co.uk/app/a1.htm

So good. Stormwatch and A, too.
