However "Neo-Prog" may be along the lines of what I'm looking for too :v:

If you want a new project to look out for, Squackett. Steve Hackett and Chris Squire, so it HAS to be good.

Akayz, have you tried Aquarius by Haken? It's not prog rock in the strictest sense but it's the most 70s prog influenced album I've heard in a while. Failing that, check out White Willow

Miles better than Asia.
Thinking of getting into this kind of music. I think I listened to a Dream Theater album once, and some Dear Hunter. Tell me a good album to start off with though.

I've heard Fripp's collabs with other people though. His albums with Brian Eno are awesome.

Their Red album is probably easier to get into, but their debut must be heard :3:
