I just recently gave King Crimson a good listen, I really like them.
I'll buy some more albums once I get some cash.

Listened to the first. I think I'm already hooked! Probably going to wait until I get Brain Salad Surgery before I listen to all the impressions.
Thanks, Hakita! :buddy:

No problem.
The second impression is very different from what you expect, that I can already tell you.
Brain Salad Surgery is mindboggling. One of my favourites, love the artwork.
I would love to have Brain Salad Surgery on vinyl with the whole opening thingy.
Can anyone reccomend me some ELP? I tried listening to them before but couldn't really get into them. I've developed my proggy palette a lot since then so I thought I'd give them another go. Anyone?
in before Tarkus
get their debut album!
Personally I really like Pictures At An Exhibition.
Just gave Milliontown by Frost* a listen for the first time. :iia:
very good band
Hyperventilate, No me No You and Black Light Machine were the best songs from it I think.
Sad to see them disband.
Listen to the tales and romanticise
How we followed the path of the heroes
Boast about the day when the rivers over-run
How we rise to the height of our halo
Listen to the tales as we all rationalise
Our way into the arms of the saviour
Feigning all the trials and the tribulations
None of us have actually been there
Not like you.
Progressive rock is probably my favorite thing to play before I fall asleep.

You're the only one who can hold your head up high
Shake your fist at the gates saying
"I've come home now!
Fetch me the spirit the son and the father
Tell them their pillar of faith has ascended.
It's time now, my time now. Give me my, give me my wings."
I realise I skipped alot but I also went to the most awesome part of the song
Holy FUCK. Usually the only progressive band I really listen to was Rush. Just listened to King Crimson and almost shit my fucking pants. Court of the Crimson King is so goddamn epic and amazing.

3. Islands
4. Discipline
5. Lizard
6. Red
7. Starless and Bible Black
8. Beat
9. Everything else

Power to Believe and Thrak have better covers than Beat and Starless
In The Wake Of Poseidon had a cool album cover in my opinion.

Haven't heard it yet.
Must do so!
The lyrics are quite shit though, but if you're anything like me you don't care.
Well "Lyrics are shit" doesn't tell me much.
The Power To Believe is good.
It's a very good album, just because it is different doesn't make it bad.
