Yeah, I'm onto his second album now. Can't wait, it's actually a good listen.
You listen to that Marillion yet?
You people are giving me no time at all :argh: I need to give these some intent listens. Watching Chinatown at the moment though.
I may be the dumbest human being for not picking up Yes' Union album on vinyl for £2..... was in NEAR MINT condition  I'll try and nab it this Friday.
Why didn't you
Dunno, I was just flicking and didn't think. I didn't assume that it was actually a rare album... which I now know it is. It was in really outstanding condition, showed the artwork really well. Vinyl looked untouched too. [editline]30th March 2011[/editline] Also, my store has a brand new copy of this for £15 Such a good album.
Union was apparently complete toss, wasn't it? I'm curious as to what Akayz thinks.
Okay, I stood by my word and nabbed Union on vinyl for £2 :smug: Pictures later on, but I've already listened to it digitally and it is a very enjoyable album. Also 90125 needs to be heard.
Picked up Selling England By The Pound by Genesis today. :iia:
Picked up Selling England By The Pound by Genesis today. :iia:
Very. Get Lamb Lies Down on Broadway on vinyl. It is absolutely sublime, maybe I favourite Genesis record although too early to call.
Very. Get Lamb Lies Down on Broadway on vinyl. It is absolutely sublime, maybe I favourite Genesis record although too early to call.
I have. :3: It was the second vinyl record I ever bought! Along with the Mama album.
Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot! I love that album.
Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot Foxtrot! I love that album.
Duke. :smug:
This is the scariest thing I've heard in a long time.
Waaaaaatcherrrrrr ooof theee skiiies watcherofall. :smugdog::pipe:
I always like Selling England more than Foxtrot.
I always like Selling England more than Foxtrot.
I prefer Trick of the Tail to both of those.
I prefer Trick of the Tail to both of those.
I've only had time to listen to it once. Didn't really do it for me. But I really really like Nursery Cryme.
I've only had time to listen to it once. Didn't really do it for me. But I really really like Nursery Cryme.
Foxtrot was mental, loved that album though. Even their debut is good.
I enjoyed their debut too, Akayz. On my second listen of Selling England tonight! Addictive album.
I prefer Trick of the Tail to both of those.
Entangled is probably my favourite song from those albums (though I don't yet own Foxtrot) but overall I prefer Selling England, it flowed better to me v:v:v

Bargain
I'll take eight.
I have to admit the truth... that the album of theirs that I've listened to the most is Duke. :3: I must do that again now. :smug:
I was listening to Duke something like twice a day when I first got it, but then I just sort of went off it. I do still give it a spin now and again though.

You get a really accessible album that you can't stop listening to then get sick of after a while. I didn't want to get sick of Duke so I just avoided listening to it all the time.
listen to this motherfucking prog metal motherfuck
Absolutely amazing album (like, "Pros And Cons Of Hitch-hiking" amazing)
I agree. Its one of my favorite concept albums of all time (and probably my first too)
