Sounds just like a rip off of Roger Waters actually. :smug: I may as well give it a listen to it since their early stuff is awesome.
Metropolis Pt 2 is amazing. As is Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence. I highly recommend listening to them.
I do have Octavarium and Images and Words in my catalogue. Superb albums. I'm not a complete Dream Theater noob :3:
I'm a total Dream Theater fanboy, listening to them right now actually and a Rush nerd :smith: I also recommend listening to Scenes From a Memory. I found the story to be very interesting. It was also their first album with Jordan Rudess
Nonikai once said to me that Dream Theater was a "play as fast as you can" band. It made me sad. :saddowns:
Listening to Bucketheads Population Override in work, it's so beautiful, I'm actually on the verge of tears of joy. No joke, eyes are welling up here, thank fuck I'm the only one in.

Worth listening to the albums! Some great jazz fusion and hard rock styles mixed in... So good.
Roger Dean is the one who made like every Yes album cover ever, right?
Roger Dean is the one who made like every Yes album cover ever, right?
Aside from 90125 and Big Generator, yes.
Start with this.
There you go: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3PYQOVZW
Have my children.
There you go: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3PYQOVZW
I may as well nab that, I feel like having a roger dean wallpaper :3: [editline]3rd April 2011[/editline] News from Yes' new Fly From Here Album
The cover is being designed by artist Roger Dean, who has created many album covers for the band. Yes' first album cover to feature Dean's work was Fragile (1971). “Obviously, the physical size of the music package became shrunk, and the more intricate artwork becomes miniature sized and isn’t as impressive as it used to be on a 12-inch cover,” Squire said. “I’m sure Roger is aware of these practices, presumably you make a slightly different kind of art for a smaller package, but I think we’ll definitely release the album on vinyl as well.”
Well, I just got my brother (who listens to grind and core) to listen to Dream Theater. :c00l:
(who listens to grind and core)
You mean Grindcore? :raise:
You mean Grindcore? :raise:
I don't know but something along the lines.
Okay, got Asia's last album. It's gotten great feedback and John Wetton is still in. :smug:
Well, I just got my brother (who listens to grind and core) to listen to Dream Theater. :c00l:
Hopefully going to see them in July Like, 2 days before I see Iron Maiden  And a week after I see Judas Priest :rock:
Hopefully going to see them in July Like, 2 days before I see Iron Maiden  And a week after I see Judas Priest :rock:
I saw them a couple of years ago, fucking awesome live band. It'll be interesting to see what they're like without Mike Portnoy.
I fear that they'll be drastically different, but I have a feeling they'll be fine. It'll just be weird to have Dream Theater without Portnoy
Well, I just got 2 tickets to the Rush show next month.
Just bought Moonmadness by Camel :D
Just bought Moonmadness by Camel :D
Listening to it right now. :respek: You should also check out Rain Dances and their self-titled effort. The latter is their best work, in my opinion! :buddy:
Okay, got a "Projekct" album. Does anyone know what that is? :mmmsmug: [editline]5th April 2011[/editline] [sp]It's a secret album made by King Cream's Son[/sp]
