Pros and Cons is fairly simplistic as far as progressive albums go

It's a very thick album. Not one that you can really have playing in the background.

As in requires your full attention or simply it being outlandish to the point that he explodes.

It requires your attention. Musically it's pretty tame.

Does have a lot of [I]parts[/I] of the same song scattered all over it. On The Wall it was okay but here I think he got a bit obsessed. :3:

You should try his duet albums with Brian Eno. They're some really droney, experimental stuff. Although listening to a bit of their last album, it seems more accessible than the deep stuff.

Stand Up and Stormwatch are by far the best Tull albums. Also, if you enjoyed Thick as a Brick, check out 'A Passion Play' aswell. It's a bit more of a serious attempt at a concept album rather than the proggy parody of Thick as a Brick. Gentle Giant are also awesome! Listen to their album 'Octopus' first. Chris Squire's album Fish Out Of The Water is quite amazing. If you haven't listened to it you should, it has no electric guitars, the only guitar is bass guitar.
