I got a bunch of CD wallmounts, so I loaded the wall around my lappy with Prog. :3:
Red, Moving Pictures, Demons and Wizards, Thick as a Brick, Selling England by the Pound, Meddle, Mirage, Images and Words, and last but not least, Relayer.

Just imagine a bunch of CDs mounted on a wall.

I feel like I should get more posters and stuff like that. All I've got is a huge Dark Side Of The Moon poster, and one of The Rat Pack, which is neat.

I just did this with some vinyls.
Took down my dad's copy of Leftoverture he gave me. Which I just discovered was signed by Kansas on the back :pcgaming:

That's pretty neat. I'd love to have something like that going.
Does anyone here know of Portal? They're a really really great band from Canada. You should definitely get ahold of their latest album, Blood Red Tape. It's amazing.

Make sure to listen to The Kingdom, Insurgent Few and Jebel Moon
Doing a Pink Floyd marathon now. 13 hours non-stop Pink Floyd :v:
Listening for 13 hours straight to one artist would drive me insane or at least bore me a lot.
Although I once listened to Sunn O))) for 16 hours straight.
One song rite? :downsrim:

Good effort. I've gotten a straight 18-19 hour session with them once, was the most mind bending experience ever.
Anyone I have ever mentioned Prog Rock to has either been  or rolled their eyes. :frown:
I was listening to King Crimson and one of my friends asked what it was and I said it was Progressive Rock and he thought I made it up

not exactly hard to listen to sunn O))) for ages though
it kinda just fades into the background

Yeah I know, at the end I kinda forgot it was there.
It saddens me somewhat that Progressive Rock has kinda faded away a bit. Not many people I know appreciate the epic talent and skill of bands like Yes, Rush and Pink Floyd. I'm all alone in my prog rock world :saddowns:
Don't worry, lad. We're here :smug:

Let's start our own country.
We can kidnap Robert Fripp and make him the president.

Name of the country?
Mellotronia
I gave up on the Pink Floyd marathon. Got bored :frown:

imo bands like Yes and King Crimson are a lot more fun to listen to. I like Pink Floyd's middle albums though like Animals and Wish You Were Here.

A Rush marathon would be good, as would a Genesis one.

Pink Floyd are a MISSION to listen to all at once.
King Crimson sit ins are more interesting imo. Sorry Floyd...
I once did In The Court to Three of a Perfect Pair in one sit.
Rush marathon is awesome in the start, but I get a bit tired of it when I reach the later albums D:
I think sit ins are only interesting when the music is a lot different each time. It's tough to do marathons like Stevie Wonder or Genesis
By the way this song is just...perfect.

The vocals, the drums, the bass, the keyboards, the guitar, the cello/violin. It all goes so well together!

Hold on a second, you only made it to "More"? :raise:
That is a miserable attempt.

But Genesis' style changes so distinctly throughout their career
But Genesis' style changes so distinctly throughout their career
