I don't think I could ever do a band's (who has as many albums as Pink Floyd or Genesis) whole discography in one sitting. Not because I'd get bored of the music, more because I'd get bored of sitting still for 13 hours
I passed Relics by Pink Floyd on vinyl for £5. Was that a big mistake? :ohdear:
I've always thought pink floyd to be kinda boring...
I'm really digging this progressive shit bands like Protest the Hero and Dance Gavin Dance someone suggest me some more pretty pleaseee?
The Human Abstract and Between the Buried and Me
I passed Relics by Pink Floyd on vinyl for £5. Was that a big mistake? :ohdear:
There's some good tracks on there (like Careful With That Axe Eugene) but otherwise if you have Piper, Saucer and Ummagumma you're sorted.
I've always thought pink floyd to be kinda boring...
I listen to them because it's soothing and makes me feel. Although they're not as creative as some prog bands.
I passed Relics by Pink Floyd on vinyl for £5. Was that a big mistake? :ohdear:
Yes
There's some good tracks on there (like Careful With That Axe Eugene) but otherwise if you have Piper, Saucer and Ummagumma you're sorted.
I have none of those on vinyl. :saddowns: Although Ummagumma is in my store for £15 and I've never found Saucerful in a record store.
I found a quadrophonic copy of Ummagumma for £40 in my local record shop. Which would be great, if I had quadrophonic equipment.
I must listen to King Crimson's Red in surround sound. But first I must find out how to do this. :v:
I want surround sound too, we should move in together and get one. Then make a sitcom
Does the Dolby Surround sound plugin actually work? Because that'd be amazing.
I must listen to King Crimson's Red in surround sound. But first I must find out how to do this. :v:
Just wait a few years for Steven Wilson and Robert Fripp to do a 5.1 surround version
Just wait a few years for Steven Wilson and Robert Fripp to do a 5.1 surround version
They've done it already. Working on Larks' Tongues in Aspic too. :smug:
blah
Snip that man, can't risk our overlord getting banned.
The Human Abstract and Between the Buried and Me
those are a bit too heavy
those are a bit too heavy
Blood on the Dance Floor
Snip that man, can't risk our overlord getting banned.
Done and added more info.
They've done it already. Working on Larks' Tongues in Aspic too. :smug:
:v:
i hope this is a joke...
You might like Reflux, it is also Progressive Metalcore.
:downsrim: [editline]6th May 2011[/editline] Most is recorded, album is due out early next year I believe
Sweet, that should be fucking incredible
holy fuck this shit is amazing
That's what everyone who listens to King Crimson says.
Apparently a surround sound version of Larks' Tongues In Aspic will take a crap load of time. Different tapes were used for different sections of the same track. :psyduck:
