I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't do it all in one take, there's some intense instrumentation on there.
Will be amazing in surround sound though. That's one experience I need to have.
It will be great but it's NO SURROUND SOUND MEDDLE :crying:

Are there any remastered surround sound Floyd albums?
Was checking out some of my dad's old CD collection. Sadly no prog, but I did find some Jimi Hendrix :buddy:

I have a surround sound DSotM.
Though, I have no way of playing it in true surround :frown:
Does the headphone plugin work though?

Okay disbelievers of surround sound through headphones.
I managed to generate a surround sound version of Larks' Part 1. Listen with headphones and tell me what you think as compared to the original.

It spreads some of it out a bit, but once I give Red a listen through this technique then I'll tell you what it's like.

It's a big difference to the original no?
listening to it a second time I can see that there's more of a difference than I first thought, but it still sound quite similar
Well yeah. It's only a plugin :v:
The real 5.1 mix will be awesome, can't wait.

Also High Tide's Sea Shanties album.
The first ever Prog metal album. :smug:
From Steve Wilson's official facebook:
"The new solo album website will probably launch in early June now. The music is done, but we're still working on film material and the deluxe edition. It's presented as two 40-45 minute albums in the same package (which begs the question; when is a double album not a double album? When it's 2 single albums issued together!) The album titles are "Deform to Form a Star" and "Like Dust I Have Cleared From My Eye"."
Cream! If you haven't listened to Insurgentes, do so.
Okay I'm doing a Rush marathon of all studio albums, including their newest single.
14:23:11, should be fun :c00lbert:
The concept album is a staple of progressive rock. Examples range from Pink Floyd's Animals (about the evils of capitalism) to Rush's 2112 (about the virtues of capitalism), and Uriah Heep's Demons and Wizards (elves and shit).
Always makes me laugh :v:

Holy shit I had no idea Bill Bruford moved to King Crimson right after he left Yes! This explains a lot, and I now feel stupid.
