Its very different from what I expected. Its pretty nice actually. I just hope there won't be more stuff like the drums at 0:21. It sounds SO out of place.
It sounds a little like Falling Into Infinity to me. Good, yet still not quite up to what I've come to expect of DT. Also does anyone else feel like the production quality is complete crap compared to their other stuff? Seriously those drums sound like absolute balls.
Well, the video is only available in 480p, so that could explain the quality.
But even then, the drums just sound badly recorded compared to everything else. Upon another listen, I'm a little worried. Despite Jordan's solo the song had no real substance or direction, and just didn't sound that good. EDIT: Never mind, the others were fake And the one posted earlier was fake aswell it turns out. It's a song by a JLB project called Mullmuzzler called Venice Burning. Thank god for that. I really wasn't liking it very much.

Tool. Flick out the lights, hit fullscreen, and just watch and listen. Good headphones for maximum effect.
What do you guys think of black widow ?
I just finished Genesis. Next up - Yes or Marillion?
Thanks for making me aware of this music, especially King Crimson. I think I'm going to pick up the Discipline album when I find it.
I just finished Genesis. Next up - Yes or Marillion?
Yes. Speaking of Yes, I can't stop listening to We Can Fly. This sounds so awesome, a real return to the Close to the Edge style, with alot of Drama mixed in. Just pre-ordered the special edition of the album.
I just finished Genesis. Next up - Yes or Marillion?
Marillion is great. But the prog experience is Close to the Edge + Fragile. Essence is there, also try the Relayer album.

Ozric Tentacles, everyone here should like them. 90s Space Rocky, Proggy cool stuff.
The £60 box-set? :raise:
No, just the CD/DVD edition. Didn't feel like going quite that overboard.
Yes. a real return to the Close to the Edge style, with alot of Drama mixed in.
Hmm I don't quite agree with the first thing you said, but it is very much a Yes Pop Prog record.
Hmm I don't quite agree with the first thing you said, but it is very much a Yes Pop Prog record.
It certainly isn't as good as CTTE, but feel wise it's similar. The first chorus in We Can Fly gives me crazy goosebumps. Awesome.
It certainly isn't as good as CTTE, but feel wise it's similar.
Yeah, I'm talking about feel. That was more a journey like thing where this is more straight foward. But if that's how you feel then I can't argue.

As in, this sounds more like Close to the Edge or Going for the One than Relayer or Tales. I feel stupid comparing Yes albums...
Well I think Relayer is similar to Close to the Edge in terms of experience. This isn't about what is better by the way, I love all their work. :3:
Well I think Relayer is similar to Close to the Edge in terms of experience. This isn't about what is better by the way, I love all their work. :3:
Well of course. Yes is still Yes. I love everything they've put out.
Well of course. Yes is still Yes. I love everything they've put out.
Yes.
Yes.
Maybe.
