'¬"¬` ____/ [editline]5th March 2011[/editline] Guess what that is.
I don't have that key :saddowns: Damn swedes and your fancy keyboards
I'm finnish.
Inbetween ; and #.
Not really :v: My "#" is on the same button as number 3 and ";" is next to my right shift. But I found it already, it was next to my enter. It just fooled me that the ' icon was on the lower corner of the button. To keep this thread from turning into "General Keyboard Discussion" I'll just throw this in: One of my favourite songs by them and a flawless performance.
I'm finnish.
I guess we´re fin bros then :v:

I was listening to Watershed by Opeth the other week and thought "wait a minute is that a fucking hammond organ solo?" And it was and it was AWESOME 8D

Difficult to rate progressive rock. I enjoy eccentric styles but think it can be musically inferior to conventional styles, but then again prog rock isn't about making conventional music. Therefore the greatest prog rock music will be the most unconventional music possible whilst incorporating styles from classical, jazz, psychadelic styles.

Same applies to every genre my friend.
It's not only about me dude. :smug: [editline]5th March 2011[/editline] If someone has a strong enough opinion about music, I can try relating to that opinion.
Been listening to King Crimson all day :smug: Really liking this album. [img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/63/King_Crimson_Discipline.jpg[/img_thumb]
Oh hello.
pink floyd and rush are my favourite prog rock bands

Those guys are p awesome
This thread has depressed me. Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again. For modern prog, listen to fucking Haken.

Fun fact: part of the organ solo in the studio version of this is the A section of the Allemande from Bach's French Suite in D minor.
God I love prog. I used to just listen to modern stuff like PT and Opeth and stuff, still do and those two in particular are probably my favourite bands, but lately I've been getting into heaps of the classic and classic influenced stuff. I fucking love Yes now, And You And I has become one of my favourite songs. I'm also listening to heaps of Spock's Beard and Transatlantic (who have an 80 minute song, how more prog can you get?). I'm also in a prog band, shit is fun to write and play
Is Mastodon's "The Last Baron" allowed here? I find it to be a pretty damn proggy song. Hella awesome song to just zone out to, too.
Prog metal is sublime. [editline]6th March 2011[/editline]
This thread has depressed me. Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again. For modern prog, listen to fucking Haken.
i'll give their 2010 album a listen.
(who have an 80 minute song, how more prog can you get?).
77 minute song :eng101:
Is anybody else hyped for the new Devin Townsend albums as much as I am? :v:

I'd really like to start writing my own music, but I've only been playing for about a year and haven´t bothered with a whole lot of theory + I don´t have any kind of recording equipment. I should really get a teacher at some point.
i only listen to music in 987/128 with 2 hr long songs
