Helllooo Steven Wilson music video number two http://new.music.yahoo.com/steven-wilson/videos/view/index--221573896;_ylt=Am1Mjiw2XqD6ojreIJMFHGHHxCUv Fuck this is interesting, the bit where the music broke out shocked the hell out of me. I have now heard 4 songs off the EP and this is going to be something special, can tell you now. Video's fantastic as well, whole song reminds me of the kind of person who 'collects people' and manipulates them. Also What Happens Now I'm only a moderate fan of, I found Nil Recurring to be the best song off that EP.
Really awesome song. Seriously fucked up though. Same goes for the video. Also, Nil Recurring I'm only a moderate fan of. Probably my least favourite song on Nil Recurring. What Happens Now? and Cheating the Polygraph and amazing though.
I'm really liking his (Wilsons) new album so far, buying it for sure. Sounds far better than Insurgentes. Not that it was bad by any means, it just wasn't very memorable to me. No Twilight is amazing, though, really reminds me of KC. I should probably give the album another listen. Ok, scrach that, Insurgentes is pretty amazing too :v:.

Insurgentes may well be one of my favourite albums with SW's name attached. I just think it's phenomenal

Oh hey this came as bonus footage on the DVD in my copy of Red.
Hmm, the only live Crimson I've heard has been Absent Lovers and a bit of Ladies of the Road The Absent Lovers version of Elephant Talk was 10x better than the original though
King Crimson's "red".....ORCHESTRAL VERSION. Not sure if late, but this is so goddamn BADASS.

Oh cool Thick as a Brick tour
wow all they did was announce the thick as a brick tour and aqualung 40th anniversary edition which they already announced two months ago well that was disappointing.
I hope they play at York Barbican They used to play there quite often but then it shut down but it re-opened last year
I'm exited to hear the unreleased material on the 40'th anniversary at least. As in unreleased they do mean never heard before ever do they? Judging by the track list it doesn't look like it :smith: There might be more to come though. :unsmith:
Goddamn it why is there no mention of Australian dates?
Goddamn it why is there no mention of Australian dates?
Because bands never come to Australia.
Because bands never come to Australia.
Jethro Tull came earlier this year!
Serious? I missed that.
Actually from the website it seems that this Thick As A Brick tour is an Ian Anderson solo tour. And I checked the website for UK dates and the closest to me is Harrogate.

I need to listen to more King Crimson. Best album go go go! And if you're going to say In The Court of the Crimson King, second best album go go go!
I need to listen to more King Crimson. Best album go go go! And if you're going to say In The Court of the Crimson King, second best album go go go!
Too many albums, people are going to recommend you different ones. If you want something Jazzy, try In the Wake of Poseidon, more prog would be Red or Lark's Tongue in Aspic. Also have a look at Discipline, THRAK and definitely Lizard. Those are the standouts in my opinion.

Some of their live albums are incredibly hard to digest.
