i listened to the five wives of king henry the other day
whatever drug wakeman was on, is a drug i'd want to stay as far away from as possible
I dont think he did them though I wouldn't be surprised he did wear a fucking cape everywhere
actually I'm fairly sure he's super anti drugs and used to just drink a lot instead
I intend to buy a bunch of wakeman solo albums because I keep finding them cheap, people are still convinced that anything Yes and Wakeman related is dross so music stores cut prices on them
The last thing I saw Rick Wakeman do was study the quality of fast food burgers on The One Show

This Get All You Deserve DVD is fantastic. For the first few performances they have a transparent screen over the stage so they put projects over the band. It's silly just how well it works, like they project a forest over the band and it's hazy and blurred but really dark. It works amazingly. Then, halfway through Sectarian in a big breakdown the curtain falls away onto the crowd and it goes super heavy. Really stunning visuals and great performances. Also his voice has improved a lot, great set of vocal performances from him and the other members are such a joy to watch

yes
prog puns used to be pretty bad but we're enjoying a bit of a renaissance at the moment
man I NEVER understood the appeal of renaissance as a band
