The kid posted a video and although you may laugh, but he got what he wanted from it. Him enjoying a game that a lot of people are enjoying at the moment won't slow anything down.

Whenever someone gets a rust key I log on in-game to see a slew of new players complaining that the game is awful and that they're always getting killed, then in response to this they also become bandits and then continue to complain on the subforum about it. I wish new players would realize that the game isn't perfect and that pvp is a necessary part of the game in this instance.

Starting out your post with an insult is never a good plan.
Having a bunch of immature children playing any Alpha is not smart. The point of an Alpha build, mind you a CLOSED alpha build, is to have the players talk to the makers, report bugs, and generally help the developers make the game a better experience. Having a bunch of 11 year old's prancing around the map mindlessly killing people won't help anyone.

Well, good for you, you just made the kid's day, probably. But i doubt he could even run the game. Even though it's just a web game (i think a unity game?) he probably still can't run it.
I don't understand why everyone wants to play rust so badly, i played it a bit before you had to have a key (a few days before it closed) and it just seemed very repetitive and boring.

I find it hilarious that so many people want to get a beta key. Only reason I got in was because of when Garry tweeted that you could mash some numbers or keys and get in. So I did. Played it once, then never played it again. I don't understand why so many people want to play this personally.

All they've seen of it is from videos on YouTube, the lack of gameplay and the exclusivity of it makes it seem like the best thing ever to the kids.
