the speed and pacing of the new simpsons intro is way different than the old. The scene would be unreadable if they crammed all that unnecessary whoof into it with all the other things going on in the intro. It's sharper and stiffer but artistically it was a necessary sacrifice to an extent
johnny test? more like johnny not-the-best.

Wait, James Arnold Taylor did the voice of Tidus from FFX? Holy shit.
johnny test? more like johnny not-the-best.
Shit, they're gonna have to cancel the show after that zinger.
it doesn't follow the same animation method. it is terrible and stiff.
There's a LOT of amazing animation out there, there's absolutely no doubt about that but imo, Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli make some of the most stunning and beautiful animated things of all time, above anybody else. It's gonna be a goddamned shame when that man finally retires.
Excuse me if late, but Miyazaki did retire. His last movie just came out in selected theaters a few months back titled "The Wind Rises." Shame, but at least he left a good legacy other than some animators having ruff runs at the end such as Don Bluth. Edited:
he decided to un-retire for the forth time.
I did not hear that. Thanks for the information, good on him.
he decided to un-retire for the seventh time.
Sounds like he loves his work.
Surprised no one posted this yet.
great now i'm gonna have this stuck in my head all day (day day) not that thats a bad thing

It's cropped from 16:9 to 4:3 like the original, and the composition is changed a ton as well. In the 16:9 version Marge is much closer to the edge compared to how she is in the original, and she isn't what the viewer would focus on at all. Nobody would actually notice the head turn, because everyone is looking at Maggie
Wait, James Arnold Taylor did the voice of Tidus from FFX? Holy shit.
And Ratchet, from Ratchet & Clank!
The only thing I know about Johnny Test is that zone porn flash. That's really all I needed to know about the show.
The only thing I know about Johnny Test is that zone porn flash. That's really all I needed to know about the show.
And the characters are just as lifeless there as they are on the show
The only thing I know about Johnny Test is that zone porn flash. That's really all I needed to know about the show.
Why would Zone even make a flash on this shit? I mean Wakfu and Skullgirls flashes I can understand, but a Johnny Test one? what inspired him to make such a thing
Why would Zone even make a flash on this shit? I mean Wakfu and Skullgirls flashes I can understand, but a Johnny Test one? what inspired him to make such a thing
An excuse for something involving twins
Now, i want to remplace every sound of a fighting game with whip sound. :v:
Why would Zone even make a flash on this shit? I mean Wakfu and Skullgirls flashes I can understand, but a Johnny Test one? what inspired him to make such a thing
usually in the case of his field he did it because he knew it would turn profit in one way or another (or he was flat-out commissioned in the first place); porn artists don't always churn things out because it's strictly something they're fanatical about. I mean, think about it- if you do some higher quality work of something people usually avoid making weird stuff for, you'll get a lot of views and potential future commissions because you attract a crowd that's desperate for quality content and probably suffering through crappy fan drawings on deviantart [editline]e[/editline] however going out of your way for some of this stuff has to be pretty profitable because there's an initial buy-in price of 'your dignity'
Miyazaki has great style, but in terms of pure skill in making something look jaw dropping from a technical standpoint Makoto Shinkai is the tops.
Sorry that I'm super super late, and possibly completely off-topic, but I just watched this movie. It is a really, really depressing movie with good visuals and all that jazz. I can compare myself with the protagonist on moving far away from the girl you love so much and that you'll never be able to reach her again but in the end, you'll get over it and meet someone else in life.
OH, I get it! It's supposed to be the "throwing a finger or hand" gesture. I had no idea why were there soo many whipcracks.
