Excuse me if late, but Miyazaki did retire. His last movie just came out in selected theaters a few months back titled "The Wind Rises." Shame, but at least he left a good legacy other than some animators having ruff runs at the end such as Don Bluth.

While the two-frame fist shake is inexcusable, the gif is a bit misleading. It's cropped from 16:9 to 4:3 like the original, and the composition is changed a ton as well. In the 16:9 version Marge is much closer to the edge compared to how she is in the original, and she isn't what the viewer would focus on at all. Nobody would actually notice the head turn, because everyone is looking at Maggie

usually in the case of his field he did it because he knew it would turn profit in one way or another (or he was flat-out commissioned in the first place); porn artists don't always churn things out because it's strictly something they're fanatical about. I mean, think about it- if you do some higher quality work of something people usually avoid making weird stuff for, you'll get a lot of views and potential future commissions because you attract a crowd that's desperate for quality content and probably suffering through crappy fan drawings on deviantart

I couldn't sleep so I said fuck it and I watched the whole movie. It is a really, really depressing movie with good visuals and all that jazz. I can compare myself with the protagonist on moving far away from the girl you love so much and that you'll never be able to reach her again but in the end, you'll get over it and meet someone else in life.
OH, I get it!
It's supposed to be the "throwing a finger or hand" gesture. I had no idea why were there soo many whipcracks.
