lol gg And, seriously, you deserve it :D
FYI, you can say ASS on facepunch.
[pic of nelson goes here]
You fell for that? Hahahahahah.
I am curious what the URL was because this sounds interesting.
OP is a @#$%ing dumba$$ L0L
never belive those things. you deserved it for thinking such lies are harmless
And to think, Steam even warns you about this when a chat window is opened.
Ahahaha. You have to be pretty dumb to fall for scams like these. It doesn't even deserve to be called hacking (people still say they got hacked). My friend fell for this, probably because he's a moron but ok.
Why would you even log in? When in the world would a friend even ask you to log into steam, even if it was the actual website?
"Do not give your password to anyone" "Do not give your password to anyone" "Do not give your password to anyone" "Make sure to enable Keep Corpses." "Do not give your password to anyone"
You failed If the link is not [URL="http://www.steampowered.com"]www.steampowered.com[/URL] dont enter your steam pass on it. Simple as that i guess
Thanks for the laugh, OP. I needed it.
[QUOTE=nivek;20934568]I mean, who fucking looks in the URL bar!?[/QUOTE] Yes, STEAM has an URL bar. And you can even use BB code and everything!
Nice going dipshit, for your stupidity you'll most likely earn a VAC ban! :buddy:
Whahahaha
I think it would be best for your computers security if you weren't such an unspeakable tool-factory.
Also, OP, it's people like you that keep phishers going and annoying every one of us smart people with their shitty links and chat invites.
[QUOTE=ZakkShock;20934349]Who the hell actually falls for those? :bravo:[/QUOTE] Maybe he did it by accident? One time I got a phone from a telemarketer (who appeared to be a scammer), I missed the disconnect button and accidentally clicked 3. At the end of the month I found my phone bill to be roughly 600 dollars.
I think he got it by now. Half of the people claiming he is dumb in this thread going all "you deserve it cuz ur stoopid" are not exactly class A material either. Apart of that, if he uses some kind of cheats with your account and you get VAC banned there is no way of undoing that. Also, didn't you verify your email address?
Get antivirus with antiphising, it basically saves a website on your computer and if that code is opened on a different url it warns you.

[quote=THE TOP OF EVERY FUCKING STEAM CHAT] Never tell your password to anyone.[/quote] Sound familiar? Ever think to follow this simple rule? It even comes with a nice little link: [url]https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?p_faqid=301[/url] And Another quote: [quote] Steam Support does not contact users over the Friends network - decline Friends requests from users you do not know. Steam Support will never need your password for any reason. Ignore any password request you receive.[/quote]
[QUOTE=Jund;20934376]Hahahaha you fell for a phishing scam. Really, people still fall for those? All it takes is a little common sense to not click on any links sent by people who you don't know.[/QUOTE] The very reason the phishers keep doing it is because there's always that tiny percentage of people who fall for dumb shit like this, making it worth doing.
Dumb, dumb, dumb. This is a level beyond dumb.
[QUOTE=Orkel;20935215]The very reason the phishers keep doing it is because there's always that tiny percentage of people who fall for dumb shit like this, making it worth doing.[/QUOTE] Thats the same way spam mail works. You would never think somebody actually buys \/14GR4 through those emails. Or sends money to the president of Nigeria who just got a heritage. But people do, even if its just a tiny percent of those billions of mails, and that makes it worthwhile.
[QUOTE=ipaqmaster;20934340]Hello, So... yeah some A$$ is going around stealing peoples accounts via tricking them into thinking a False address to steam is legit He has done this by creating a web address created by a hosting site that claims to be a steam login page and in the chat window he sais that this is a "LOL OMFG LMFAO LOOK AT THIS link" that asks you to log in. I have sent Helping tickets and all to steams support page and i still havent gotten a reply. I posted it with all credentials and proof of purchaces Think i will get my account back?... :\ I am suprised that He hasnt gotten here yet. Just wanted help.[/QUOTE] People who do this preform a vital service to Steam, they weed out the morons dumb enough to enter there account info on sights that clearly aren't steam so we don't have to play with them.
[QUOTE=ZakkShock;20934349]Who the hell actually falls for those? :bravo:[/QUOTE] Should have used :downsbravo:
