I have come to a conclusion that using Garrysmod in a class project with almost 0 effort will get you an A in school.
Made this a while back for film and television class.
The project was to make a public service announcement, I ended up drawing the short straw and had to do the project alone.

I used Garry's Mod for my high school physics final project. I did my project on "physics of a video game." I pretty much just talked about Newton's 3 laws. Teacher kept a copy to showcase it as an example for future classes. If anyone wants it, I'm sure I can dig it up somewhere.
I did an entire spanish project in gmod. Then my partner decided he didnt want me to show a game because he would look bad.
I waited 'till the last minute on some exercise project, so I just grabbed a Male07, flopped him around gm_construct, and got an A+.

For my Media film trailer we wasn't allowed to use prop guns in school so I used the white room in construct and turned it into a green room and green screened the HL2 shotgun into my trailer, results were good!

I use Hammer to plan out projects for my woodshop class, which works MUCH better than doing an orthographic drawing alone. Being able to see something in three dimensions makes finding mistakes easier.
I made a comic once for my English class
i tried to make a summary of romeo and juliet but after watching it again i saw how shitty it was and deleted it
I'm currently part-way through my robotics degree, and for my final year project I'm going to build a snake robot. Garry's Mod is incredibly useful for simulating it.
