Why ride on the inside?
Whenever im on a bike i never put myself to the center of the road. i prefer having sidewalk next to me, not tram tracks. And a stationary car outside what i assume is a major exhibition center has a decent likelihood of opening its doors, so i would be prepared to put my brakes on.
I think the biker is just as much to blame, and hopefully he will learn from his idiocity
Jesus Christ. Can a First World Problems thread be made in order to post things like this? I understand from a personal standpoint it can be a crazy event to witness, but it's nothing worth making a thread over.
Theres a war happening in the middle east. Iran is beginning to aim its army at Isreal. Entire civilian populations are being bombed in Syria. Cheap oil is beginning to show its first signs of running out. And half of the United States wants a man 10 times worse than bush to be President.
There are much more important things in this world to be worrying about.
I witnessed an accident at school, car slowed and turned right without noticing the guy in the bike lane right next to him. The guy got hit from behind, lept off his bike, and hit the ground on his side. The car drove off.
I went and picked up the guy's bike for him, he was virtually unharmed, but shaken and anxious. It's pretty scary when you witness these things in real life, even if nothing harmful happens.
I once witnessed a bicyclist getting hit by a car.
But because it was right after my own motorcycle crash, I was so pumped with adrenaline that I approached the car, yelling to the driver: What the fuck is wrong with you?! Can't you see that we've had too many accidents here already today?!
Then he drove off. I don't know if it was because of arrogance or because I spooked him.
So I wrote down the register plate of his car and reported it to the police.
Maybe its just me but i have being seeing more a more bad drivers. People who just don't pay attention or speed excessively. In the past 6 months i have almost been hit around 10 times. Usually would be just by a rear end accident but ive had others change lanes without looking and forcing me over to avoid a wreck.
Talk about driving in my country.
I actually got chills reading that, happy to hear the biker is okay. I used to live up in that area, but down here the most dangerous place is probably the mall parking lot. Everyone likes to speed up and then slam on the brakes when someone tries to cross from the lot to the mall.
i've come close to getting my shit wrecked on the road a couple times, people in this town drive like the dmv just passes out licenses to whatever big dumb ape asks for one
i mean shit people in atlanta drive better than the people in my town and atlanta's streets are all kinds of fucked up, ours are easy

i am still cautious to take the motorcycle out over the car
I refuse to cycle on the road nowadays because, quite frankly, drivers seem to be right cunts to people on bikes. My dad's almost been taken out before by people swinging their doors open without fucking looking (which is fucking retarded in the first place - what if a vehicle tears your door clean off because you're too damn impatient to simply check behind your vehicle?). I've almost been killed many-a-time cycling in bike lanes, so from now on it's the fucking path for me.
I figure if a car smashes into me while I'm on a bike I'm more likely to die than a pedestrian is if I smash into them on my bike.

Yes please tell me about how enlightened you are and everything you do for third-world countries that makes you better than me because I'm telling an interesting story that somehow inconveniences you, as if I'm saving precious resources by not telling it to begin with.
I'm sorry sir won't happen again, you may begin.
I live in Toronto and not too long ago some guy got trapped under one of the street cars while it was moving, apparently it kept driving almost 10 blocks before the driver realized
Guy was dragged to death
I watched a kid (couldn't been more than 15-16) get hit by a car at a Mac Miller concert.
The car was completely at fault, she ran a red because she was texting and went right through the crosswalk and nailed this kid. He couldn't have seen it coming, either, since it was a two-lane stoplight and there were cars in the left lane, and none in the right. He was coming towards the right lane when the cunt ran the light and drilled him at about ~40 mph. He slammed into the windshield and then bounced into the street when she braked. She tried to drive away but a bunch of people ran in front of her and stood there, blocking her in. Stupid bitch.
The kid was okay, he absolutely broke his right arm and leg on impact and got a nasty concussion, but he was good other than that.

Lemme tell you; You aren't okay after that.
