It seems you have Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.
Cancer.
Welcome to skinny town, fella.
[editline]04:09PM[/editline]
Horribly skinny town.
you're burning more calories than you consume
eat more food
You have 2 days to live.
I always eat breakfast, I try to eat something every third hour like an apple or such.
3 meals a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner.
I usually eat until I'm full.
Sidenote, I can be very sloppy when I'm alone, as in forgetting to eat and such, I rarely feel hunger unless I'm so hungry it hurts a little.
And seriously people, by saying that you wouldn't trust a school nurse or that I should visit a doctor is putting yourself OVER her.
Who has education? Do you honestly think she wouldn't have considdered tape worm?
It's probably high on the list of reason to suddenly loose weight.
Somehow I think her being a nurse in a place where the patients she'd most regularly see are people faking to be sick to get out of school makes me not trust her 'expertise'.
Get a second opinion.
eat like 6+ smaller meals throughout the day
and eat something right before bed
I usually hear that I look healthy, way more than I look skinny.
I've heard that I look thinner than I used to but never that I'm down right skinny, because that's a description that's not fitting me.

It always starts like that.
People first say you look healthy, then they say you have a slender physique, then they call you skinny/thin, then they get worried.
First of all I wanna say "lucky" you by that I mean that you lose weight by doing nothing at all, not like me gaining around 5 kg a week (I keed)
But down to buissness, I would seek a authorized doctor instead of asking a bunch of gamers. I do not know your age, but it couldt be anorexia. But I'm not the one to state that, it is nothing you should breach your mind with, but if it is you can get professional help which I would choose to take.
You, as many others do, are using the term "no reason" just because you don't fully understand it. That is annoying, there is a reason there is always a reason, you just do not know what it is. Your body didn't just go "fuck it, I'ma lose some weight."
Allright allright.
I'm gonna give into pier pressure, on monday I'm gonna go visit a doctor for a second opinion.
This wasn't really where I wanted the thread to go at all but you know what? Why not.
People seem to care, who am I to tell them they're wrong?
Much appriciated concern.
Now, anyone else want to tell me their life story of being thin / skinny / whatever?!
Tapeworms.
Well not that this is the case whatsoever, but you could have a type of cancer? Testicular cancer maybe? It's common in our age group. I had a scare but I found out the lump I had was a vericose vein, or however you spell it.
Also man, your metabolism could just have changed, it happens. I wish mine was faster, but oh well. Anyways eat more meat in your meals.

You know what? You are completely true.
I just never looked at it that way, ofcourse there is some natural explanation, may it be whatever.
Funny thing, this is the type of thing that I usually would get annoyed by! :P
Just to throw some extra info here.
I'm 18.
I'm about 172cm and 51,6kg. I feel fine so you shouldn't worry too much. You should find out why you are loosing weight though.
I've sort of randomly lost weight, I was about 135 pounds and now I only weigh 121 pounds. I still eat tons everyday and never exercise... Is that bad? I got taller if it matters. Also it seems like I can't eat as much as I used to be able to.

how tall are you
Hey, it's normal. it happens when you grow up.
i'm 174cm myself and i weight 59kg. so don't worry
It's probably because you're growing.
Or maybe because you have tapeworms. Or cancer.
Or diabetes (you should actually look that up, concerning your grandpa), loosing weight very fast in a short period of time is actually a symptom.
Well, it just might be a bacteria aswell.
GL :D
how tall are you
Like maybe 5'9"ish.
If only I could lose weight like that :allears:
Like maybe 5'9"ish.
"Hmm, I've lost alot of fat lately...ill go ask Dr. Facepunch if thats normarl, hurr."
Allright allright.

Could be worse, I'm 5'11" and weight 128 lbs, I have never gone above 133lbs though. I'm built like a runner, I do mostly long distance.
I have to eat 3000 calories a day to maintain my current weight during the off season.
