No, I'm going to be "missing out" on an overhyped piece of shit that everyone will be embarrassed to have watched and raved about in 5 years when Facebook is replaced by the next flash-in-the-pan piece of shit social networking site.
I would guess that you're the anti-social type (me too) and have a grudge against FB for that reason (and other smaller reasons). Facebook is revolutionary - what it does for human communication has never really been done before. It's not because of the code, or the company, but because of the network itself. What I'm getting at is that, even though you & I may not like using Facebook and may not like the company, it's still significant and relevant. Sorry, but you can't convince anyone that it doesn't deserve attention. It might go down in history as something lame, but it'll still go down in history.
Oh hey it's the curved dick guy from Youth in Revolt. I'm okay with this.
I think it looks pretty good, great actors and good plot although I do not like FB.
Also, video in OP has been taken down. REPLACEMENT!
Just got back from the midnight showing. what an absolutely awesome film. I really wasn't that excited about it, pretty much only saw it because it's a David Fincher film. He did not disappoint at all. I also was not expecting it to be that absolutely funny at times, either. it really was just an all around great film and you guys are missing out if you don't give this a try. It deserves all the amazing reviews it's been getting.
Shit, thanks for the review postal, glad to know that Fincher didn't lose his marbles by directing this like everyone thought he did.
Going today to see it, will post back soon :D
More of you need to go see this.
More of you need to go see this.
Do you think it will get a Best Picture nomination based on what you've seen?
i liked the movie i think ill go check out some nin now, i liked the soundtrack
I'm really surprised at the rave reviews this is getting, I wasn't expecting much at all. Might actually have to go see it.
http://www.nypress.com/article-21675-discourteous-discourse.html Troll of the year.
He really can't write an article. He's trying to obfuscate what he's saying with unnecessaryily "challenging" vocabulary. It's may show someone is intellectual and all, but it is just poor writing. This is regardless of his opinion, he's entitled to his own and I do not curr
http://www.nypress.com/article-21675-discourteous-discourse.html Troll of the year.
He gave Inception a bad review too. Troll indeed.
He also said Toy Story 3 was bad [editline]11:59PM[/editline]
Plus Aaron Sorkin, enough said.
qft
I would guess that you're the anti-social type (me too) and have a grudge against FB for that reason (and other smaller reasons).
Nah, I have tons of friends on Facebook and plenty of friends in real life. The main thing that bothers me about Facebook is the way people use it and the way it's perceived in popular culture.
Facebook is revolutionary - what it does for human communication has never really been done before. It's not because of the code, or the company, but because of the network itself.
Case in point. Facebook isn't revolutionary at all. What it does for human communication is no different than what was done by other social networking sites that came before it. the only real difference is that more people use it, so it is able to create a more complete network. But from what I hear the movie makes Zuckerburg seem like a total butthole and a grade-A jerk, so maybe it's not so bad. I thought this article about the movie, and about the way Facebook type companies have changed Silicon Valley, was really interesting: http://www.newsweek.com/2010/09/24/the-sad-truth-about-the-facebook-movie.html
Starts in 10 minutes, I'm actually looking forward to it
I wasn't interested into seeing it till today, might get a glance tonight. (:
Arnold White? Oh, the dude that gave Toy Story 3 and Inception a bad review? Yeah, move along, he's an idiot.
Because of this movie, Mark Zuckerberg is donating money so he won't look like a douche.
Seeing this movie tomorrow, im really excited
That was a really good film. Many of you are on the Facebook hate bandwagon but this movie is less about Facebook, and more about the story behind it, moreover the story the writers created. Even if you love to hate Facebook I would recommend seeing this film.
Was good film I highly recommend you all see it
Gonna see it tonight.
Because of this movie, Mark Zuckerberg is donating money so he won't look like a douche.
No, he was planning to donate anyway, and even wanted to donate anonymously so people wouldn't think that. The people he was donating to convinced him otherwise.
Wow this is actually really good. Jessie Eisenberg made Mark Zuckerberg such a likable butthole.
My friend hated this movie. Said it was super boring and Mark was an unlikable asshole. I think (hope) he's wrong, gonna hopefully see this tomorrow anyway. Also since this friend is the only one in the world* who thinks this way I don't think he's right.
Yeah, this movie is dialouge intensive. But it's intense dialouge. They talk fast and use big words rife with sarcasam. My kind of dialouge. In all honesty the way Jessie portrayed Mark reminds me a bit too much of myself. :ohdear:
Wow this was an amazing movie, honestly one of my top three movies of all time.
I went with about five of my friends and they all said I remind them of me, not to mention that I'm developing a social networking site similar in features to Facebook, certainly didn't help.
