It plays 45s.
Amazingness right here.
I've got a JVC headunit, USB input etc and twin Fli 6" speakers in my door cards. I'm not a fan of subs and stuff though. I'd rather keep my interior stripped for weight and go faster...
stock front 6' but i got some random xplod 6x9's and the head unit is a pioneer, not sure what model but i love it, the 6x9's that were stock blew when i put the unit in so i replaced them right away but the stock 6' are amazing still, and they are original from 94
Do subs really weigh the car down to a noticeably difference?
I love my dad's truck because he has a sirus satellite radio. The Howard Stern Show is a great talk show.
when im not a poor ass nerd im going to have 4 15's in my trunk. Be beatin down the block, you know? King kong in mah trunk, Knahimsayn? Knockin pictures off the wall, Knameen?
Do subs really weigh the car down to a noticeably difference?
Normally, no if you're a millionaire and put all the money into an epic audio system, yes I have a 12" sub in my car and an empty 70 box for another 12" :v:
Got a 12" JBL sub and really happy with it. Don't want to spend anymore but really need better mid range.
what is the best choice for a 12 or 15 and amp to power it for under $250?
what is the best choice for a 12 or 15 and amp to power it for under $250?
In Norway: nothing
usa... minnesota to be more exact if that helps
Do subs really weigh the car down to a noticeably difference?
Well my system does. My car weighs about 2000lbs and the sub+box+amp weighs about 150lbs so it pretty much adds another person to the car. Oh and for an amp. If you want inexpensive check on ebay for amps.. You can buy some decent kenwood ones for $150. JL Audio makes awesome amps but they are pricey. Check out Rockford Fosgate also.,
Well my system does. My car weighs about 2000lbs and the sub+box+amp weighs about 150lbs so it pretty much adds another person to the car.
Mine weighs ~3200 lbs so I guess it wouldn't be a huge difference (or at least I hope not).
I used to have a nice system in my Mustang until I totaled it. The only thing I was able to salvage was a 1500 watt Autotek (or something like that) amp that's just been gathering dust since, since my new Eclipse has a shitty Infinti system that's 2ohm and isn't compatible with anything ever. The stock amp is blown too and I can't find any on the internet.
I don't really like Sony for car audio; just not that great quality, the 8 i had a nice soft deep bass to it but I nicked it from a home theater kit. BOSE does sound nice but HOLY MOTHER OF GOD its overpriced. JBL are nice though, I'm thinking of replacing my TEAC mids with a 200 watt amp and a couple of 6x9s and putting them in floor standing L port boxes these 6x9s [editline]12:18AM[/editline] y/n?
I don't even know (or care) what sort of system I have. All I know is that I can beat pretty much anyone on the road sound-wise. I love looking at the faces of the drivers in those fucking rice rockets when I drown out their shitty rap/hip-hop/techno with Free Bird.
For some reason my speakers sound really nice. It's kinda creepy though as they are base Saturn SW2 speakers...
saturns have really nice stock sound for some reason its kind of awkward...
I remember the first time I listened to something after I changed the radio... I can put it to max volume and the only problem is the plastic in front of the speaker shaking when there's some bass
I hate cars with extremely heavy bass.
Whoa, is that a Buick Park Avenue? The one in my Escort isn't anything special. It has some Pioneer speakers with the combined wattage of about 200W so it isn't horrible, but its not great either. At least it isn't incredibly tinny. The head unit is still stock though. Cassettes :neckbeard: I want a new headunit though, mostly for Bluetooth voice and audio. Or at least a real AUX Input. I don't need an amazing sound system since the speakers I do have get the job done.
i don't get the point of expensive Car audio. unless you are one of the jackasses that drive around at night blasting your shitty "doof doof" music to prove to the neighbourhood how small your penis is.
I can't stand stock speakers... I just like the great sound quality.
this is my work car and 2x 6.9" jbl got it all for like $200
I hate cars with extremely heavy bass.
Yeah, those get annoying.
Yeah, those get annoying.
whats annoying is the chavs trying to show how small his penis is by waking up neighborhoods with their shitty car
this is my work car
what a pretty ipod
