• Thoughts on Open relationships?
Well, I just got done talking to her. Were going to try just being friends, then if we feel we both are ready we might start dating with a closed relationship. I know as a fact she wasn't manipulating me, after we talked about it we didn't see how the open relationship would help with anything(she said so herself), but we saw a few ways that it could damage it. Were trying to take it slow, thanks for the suggestions.
No problem. Good luck with future shit.
Well thats good that you two came to that conclusion. I mean whats the point of dating each other if youre not even going to be loyal to each other. You cant even say its a relationship. Its like that stage of those close friendships where you two hold hands and maybe kiss just to show how close you are to each other. its pointless. To be in a relationship is to be dedicated to each other. Hell even the flings are dedicated since the people are dedicated to each other to just fuck. Also open relationships you KNOW youre going to be ditched and cheated on so why even bother? Even if you agree to it and tell yourself "I can handle this" youre still going to be crushed as soon as you know the guy/girl that you finally got a hold of is no longer yours. Unless youre the person who doesnt give a shit and found the other person of course. Thats just my opinion of course.
an open relationship but no sex? what are you, 12?
Who would want their girlfriend to be fucking some other faggot?
someone with no balls
Because unless your the hottest thing on earth, if your quasi-partner only cares about having as much sex as possible, they will find someone hotter and you will be left alone, with your hand.
this.
an open relationship but no sex?
I don't condone this
Never fucking works, unless you go on Facebook and set your status to "dude2183 is in an open relationship with his hand". zing
Never fucking works, unless you go on Facebook and set your status to "dude2183 is in an open relationship with his hand". zing
don't self-proclaim you made a zing you shit
They're wrong.
They're wrong.
Not really. I don't see how you can classify being sexually open but emotionally closed "wrong" in anyway.
Why not just accept under the terms that if she pulls anything your rid of her?
Open relationship/it's complicated status on facebook = I'm still banging my ex-girlfriend.
One word "AIDS"
I'm way too jealous for that kind of thing
I could never do that, just seems wrong. Plus, yeah, too jealous.
A relationship ain't a swingers club, don't do it
If someone's gonna have an open relationship, they may aswell just be single with a regular fuck buddy. It just seems pointless.
the only one fucking ppl would be her anyways....
No. I wouldn't. Then again I'm the protective jealous type. And she loves it so it's alright.
Open relationships require more trust.
Well it depends, will you get mad when you see her with another guy or if she treats your less of a boyfriend and more as a friend? Or, are you the type that also wants to see other girls to. If the former then don't bother with it, if the later then go all in with it. If it was me, personally I wouldn't do an open relationship because I'm protective and rather not get jealous and as the other stuff said above me.
House M.D.
I'm sure exactly what an open relationship is, but if it's what I think it is, then I hope I never have a girlfriend who has five other boyfriends. Sends cold shivers down my spine just thinking of other dudes with my supposed future girlfriend.
What are you thoughts on open relationships? Do they work? Do you think its even worth having a relationship if its an open one? My girlfriend broke up with me because of a certain problem, but wants to get back with me, trying an open relationship, I love her, do you think its worth it?
There would have to be rules, and most folk can't stand the thought of their partner being with someone else. Wouldn't work for me I'm way too possessive for that shit :v:
Sometimes, open relationships can work. But, rarely.
"Hey, what'd you do last night? I fucked a guy Cool, I fucked a girl" There's no such thing as an open relationship, that's fuckbuddies...
She says no sex or making out with the person who is in the open relationship, but we could do those things.
An "open relationship" without romantic physical contact is called a "friendship". How old are the 2(+) of you?
I think all the posts that are trying to give the "morally correct relationship" advice should be ignored.
The idea of an open relationship isn't reprehensible because it's morally incorrect - the problem lies in feelings of jealousy. I can't imagine an open relationship in which any person involved - male or female - doesn't end up feeling jealous of another member of the relationship. Note that I have no objections to open relationships in which every person is aware of and has agreed to the dating of multiple people, but, based off of my own experiences in relationships, I would never recommend the "open" system to anyone. I'm a pretty jealous and possessive person though, so, if my girlfriend was to bring up suggestions of an open relationship: Step one is a flat, angry "No" from me, then step two is filling a 40oz with piss & using it to smash in the lid of whoever she wanted to see on the side.
Yeah, I dont want an open relationship, because a relationship is between two people right? But she wants one because of some family issues. She says no sex or making out with the person who is in the open relationship, but we could do those things.
Then....thats....a relationship?
No.
Chick is a whore and wants to fuck other guys while still having you for when she needs shit bought for her fuck that shit
