I posted about games costing a shit load of money in Australia on the EB games facebook page, it got removed instantly.

EB Games
Well there's the main problem. Retail games hover around $70-80 (still far too fucking much) at other stores (JB hifi, Big W) in my experience.
cunts I'm finishing year 12 soon what do [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] also do other states have the equivalent of schoolies and shit or what
go to uni you dolt
Don't go to the Gold Coast for schoolies just go rent a cabin and get pissed with mates or something
go to uni you dolt
I don't want to go to uni [editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
Don't go to the Gold Coast for schoolies just go rent a cabin and get pissed with mates or something
I'm not going to schoolies or doing anything at all
well head to centrelink then and pick up a slab of beer on the way back
Sounds good I'm taking next year off, I'm going to get a job and just work for a year. I've never had one up to now and I still don't have a driver's licence. So next year for me is going to be about trying to pick up the guitar again, earning some money and deciding what I want to do the year after I meant that I'm doing absolutely nothing in the weeks after I've finished my exams. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] I have three choices for what I will probably end up doing Join the ADF - Already applied and been accepted, as long as I go back within six months I can apply for any of the jobs I qualified for in the psych test Considering doing an electrician course or something, going to look into it Or finally, go to uni and do an undergraduate psychology course, but I don't really think I'm cut out for uni and I don't really want to do it Over the next month I'm just going to sit in my room and play games. It's going to be great
Over the next month I'm just going to sit in my room and play games. It's going to be great
and you say you're not cut out for uni! army gap year would keep you out of trouble sparky, well, if you only want money sure, or enjoy repetitive manual work you could always do a half semester online to see if it's for you
I don't really want to do it that much. I already applied for gap year, I got the second stage of recruitment and I failed Sure I wouldn't have a problem with that. Sounds like most jobs And even if I was going to do it I wouldn't want to do it online
Do whatever you want dude, uni isnt for everyone.
Do whatever you want dude, uni isnt for everyone.
he's asking for suggestions, so of course I'm going to be biased you should be a sparky then if you work hard you can get loads emone
I know I got plenty of time to mull it over That's the point of next year. And it'd be nice to get a job and have some money for once.
I know I got plenty of time to mull it over That's the point of next year. And it'd be nice to get a job and have some money for once.
do you have a car yet?
he's asking for suggestions, so of course I'm going to be biased you should be a sparky then if you work hard you can get loads emone
That's right, just looking for opinions [editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
do you have a car yet?
Hell no, why would I own a car if I don't even have my ls?
traveling wouldn't be a bad idea either go hiking in the Himalayas [editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
Hell no, why would I own a car if I don't even have my ls?
woah no Ls a car is like a ++++ freedom boost, and Australia is a beautiful country to explore
Take the next month off and fuck everything. Then figure it out. Electrician is good and if you can get into that in the army then it's real good. I'd be looking for something sooner rather than later though because they can be dicks about letting people in early in the year and you'd have to wait it out.
I was honestly actually planning on maybe doing some hiking in the Adelaide hills next year Maybe some mountain biking if I got a car I'd go camp by myself a couple weekends a year by the beach [editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
Take the next month off and fuck everything. wait is mizzy still alive or did she kill herself due to law degree pressure?
I was wondering where she went the other night.
doing legal studies revision right now related 3 hour exam ohfuckguys
If you get your training with the army, look into how long you have to stay with them for. I considered doing my Engineering degree through them and becoming an officer a few years ago but I'd need to stay with them til I was like 32.
cunts I'm finishing year 12 soon what do [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] also do other states have the equivalent of schoolies and shit or what
dont go to byron bay it's hard enough to get a park already
I live in SA Schoolies is up at Victor Harbor I was planning to go at the beginning of the year but none of my friends want to go, and the people that I would go with I don't really like that much, so I'm not going That and I lack transportation, funds and a place to stay so there's no way I can go.

Commonwealth supported places are subsidized enough as it is, it's great Australia, the only place you can get a B.A. J.D. for 45k

I think it's the amount of time they spent training you plus an extra two years or something [editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
what really? isn't it the length of your degree plus 1? Maybe as an officer and doing an undergrad it would be more, but the training itself was 5 years then another 8 on top of that.
I wanted to be an officer for a couple months but then I realized I didn't have what it takes
I wanted to be an officer for a couple months but then I realized I didn't have what it takes
Go and do it, you never know, you might actually have what it takes. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] tempted to post some courage wolf to encourage you.
Nah I changed my mind too, I was really sure of joining the army at the beginning of this year but now I'm not too sure. It just requires qualities that I don't have, and I can accept that. I'm not disappointed or sad, it's just not within my abilities.
Like what qualities? It's not that hard to get and as long as you aren't a massive dick then you can learn it.
