I turned up wearing a white, work shirt, and pin striped pants. I wasn't sure what to wear and I thought it'd be best to over-dress than under-dress.
After seeing everyone around me in jeans and a casual shirt I'm glad I chose not to wear a tie...

Was at KMart yesterday and an employee dropped something in the ambiguous zone. I went and picked it up for her but felt kind of weird about it. Picking it up REMINDED me of this comic, and hence the ambiguous zone, which then send me into a little quiet fit of laughter, which must have made things even more awkward for the employee in question...
