how can you play that game so much?
No idea man, it's just i've got something which can hold my interest now. [editline]21st June 2011[/editline]
Because for some reason everyone I know smokes Stuyvesant, while everyone else smokes winnies or dunhill or something
Everyone you know is classy, seriously you pay like $3 more and the quality is noticeably superior
ok so i get petrol at this coles/shell servo sometimes, near nunawading station but every time i go to pay for my shit, they try to sell me gum or toilet paper or an extra can of x with some fucking lame sentence, i hate customer service when it feels like corporation service trying to bunch in some extra bucks on sales "is your work giving you the shits, we have a 2 for 1 deal on toilet paper" (the bird actually said this, maybe she's the manager or something) "eclipse gum, only 2 dollars etc" are they allowed to do this shit? is it corporately enforced, or is this some dumb mananger trying to boost sales and fucking his staff in the arse making them spout promotional shit or what it's happened every day this week, and ive started ignoring the questions, but these people are very persistent in making me feel akward pausing for me to answer the question while i just look baffled at them
Coulda made a cool duke nukem line about the gum.
thats an idea i thought of just asking them outrageous questions "would you like some gum" "would you like to fuck off" no? glad we settled that
They have to ask, it's their policy. The servo itself (not the petrol company) make more money on the goods inside and so they make them try and offload it. It's nothing personally geeez. Sounds like they were trying to get a laugh outta you
Filled up at 1.36/L on a Tuesday at midday. Winning.
Filled up at 1.36/L on a Tuesday at midday. Winning.
I could have gotten it for 1.32/L easily, only I didn't drive my car yesterday. I was tagging along with my mum to the snow.
Going for a job interview at Event Cinemas later today. Does anyone here work there? If so is the interview a group interview or me talking to two people?
good luck
good luck
Cheers man currently in the bar thing they have. I think it's a group interview :ohdear:
Cheers man currently in the bar thing they have. I think it's a group interview :ohdear:
Confidence, when they ask a question, be the first to answer, don't look at the other people when it's asked. Don't act like a douche and fill the room with your ego, they're looking for experience, not an attitude. My group interview for my cinema was a bitch, but I got through it pretty well.
Also, end of school term I'm going to drink my liver cells away
Also, end of school term I'm going to drink my liver cells away
Do us proud.

Oh god I have to stop drinking coffee, I had the worst headaches this morning
guys i have a confesion to make, i love my little pony
wutttttttttttt
Oh god I have to stop drinking coffee, I had the worst headaches this morning
Or drink more, then quit. I'm currently binging on it and towards the end of the day my hands are shaking pretty bad. Still, gotta get through that last bit of it though, then I'll stop.
Oh god I have to stop drinking coffee, I had the worst headaches this morning
lol caffeine withdrawl symptoms suck. It's funny how the majority of the western world's population is addicted to caffeine yet hardly anyone realises they have a chemical dependency on the stuff. [editline]24th June 2011[/editline] I once drank 14 cups of coffee in like 5 hours with a friend (we wanted to do the Futurama, Fry's 100 cups of coffee thing). I ended up writhing around on the floor in agony by the end of it. Had cramps all over my body, I was sweating profusely, my kidneys were in excruciating pain, my head was throbbing... it was fun. And the withdrawl... urgh. Horrid.
I think I might cut back, headaches in the morning suck so hard. And I only really drink two cups a day, caffeine is shitty
Going camping tomorrow, of course the one time we all decide to go camping it's going to be freezing in Australia. How can people say that Australia's all hot and beachy when it's so cold so often?
It's winter, what do you expect? That said, I went for a walk today in lovely Ballarat and it was hotter than expected. I think this weekend is supposed to be better than the rest of this week.

Face it, 12 degrees is not cold. Try -15 or something like that.
