Don't be silly, you're not a man.
You're an autobot.
the only maths you need to be able to do to is simple arithmetic.
you only need fancy maths for specialized shit like games development, etc
What do you mean by fancy.
bit late but zyzz
What a shame.
Heard someone say they found him dead in a sauna in Thailand.
yeah cardiac arrest, most likely from taking shit
cardiac arrest from too much ~alpha

For most programming you don't need any maths at all. Some programming you need to be able to do basic arithmetic, and maybe figure out powers and stuff like that. High level maths is only needed in the niche parts of computer science.
What you do need is a good idea of logic and good problem solving skills.
what a crock of shit
also this is really amusing

I get that, sometimes when I'm stuck with what to write on an essay, I take a pen and paper and go into the shower and jot down a few paragraphs in a couple minutes. The paper is a bit drenched, but oh well. Weird as hell but works.
Also, fuck yeah, first class honours on first test of the semester.

Indices aren't basic arithmetic

Sure they are, just multiply a number many times. In 99% of cases you only need to deal with integer powers.
Even then, most of the time it's just figuring out your powers of 2, which are quite easy to memorize.

There's more to indices that going 2x2x2x2 = 2^4.
There's like 10 laws you have to remember when you are calculating them. What maths do/did you do at school? Up here, you get prevoc, A, B, and C. Prevoc doesn't count towards your op but the rest do, and you have to do either A or B with C being an elective that has B as a requirement. Of the two compulsory ones, B is the more advanced and that's where the indices are taught, for good reason. 2^4 is pretty straight forward but they can get very challenging very quickly. Do you know what logarithms are?
2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024,2048,4096,8192,16384,32768,65536,131072
It was a lot more impressive when I got to that while swimming.

But logarithms are basic.
bought a happy meal just to get the pokemon card
bought a happy meal just to get the pokemon card
Pokemon cards in happy meals? Where were they when I was a kid.
They got em atm at maccas, shame it's only for the new generation pokemon.
But logarithms are basic.
AFAIK not basic enough for math A which is advertised to students as being basic. That wasn't the important part of the post, I was trying to see what he knows.
