I've always wanted/needed to view RC threads, and the GMF is ok.
$10 is hardly anything, to be honest.
I still think you need to earn it though. I'm not sure of people who joined recently, and have about 100-300 posts who think that Gold will earn them respect.
I don't give a shit about the money, I just prefer to spend it on things that are worthwhile.

It's 9pm at night and there is a nice warm 25 degree breeze.
Well I live in the docklands so it's a nice warm 25 degree tornado (but I like the wind).
Was on vacation in Greece last year and being able to sit outside with just shorts and a t-shirt late at night was just lovely.

I went to the snow once and it wasn't that good.
It's fun to have snowball fights and skiing, but other than that; not very fun.
I go to the snow at least a few times each year.
