My ATAR requirement is 79 - 86 which I could get easily, but I'll be disappointed if I don't get in the 90s. Tomorrow is the second part of English, just three extended responses. Then I'm free until Maths next Tuesday so I'm pretty relaxed.

I've enjoyed it here. Once you get used to having to use a communal kitchen, bathroom and laundry, it's not so bad. It's pretty social, and the people here are nice so we hang out/go out often. Expensive though.

I've got a lease here until January, and then I'll most likely move out into a share house or something since I can't really afford to live here. ~$1k a month is a bit too much for me, although I guess it's not too bad given the location.

So I want to get a smartphone (Galaxy S 2, but that's besides the point) on a plan so I don't have to spend a stupid amount of money up front, and only pay $50 or so a month. The thing is most of the providers that offer that need me to be 18 and provide photo ID with the date of birth on it. So how the fuck do I get around that. I turn 18 in April. Are there any providers that don't need me to be 18? Also, a side note, you need to be 18 to get a debit card in Australia? That shits me to tears. I have to ask my Dad to buy me things on steam for the first time in [i]years[/i].

You can get a visa debit card in your name from at least 16 up, but you'd probably need to go with a legal guardian just in case I think being 18+ is a legislative requirement, I was able to sign a rental agreement and have a debit card at 16-17, but not able to have a phone in my name until 18+

It's so you don't fuck off with a thousand dollar phone for like $50. I'm guessing it's harder to track under age people's identity.

So, crisis averted. I cannot foresee any way that this could possibly bite me in the ass. At all.

I posted about games costing a shit load of money in Australia on the EB games facebook page, it got removed instantly.
