Anything by Infected Mushroom, and maybe some Radiohead tracks.
My last post was just a joke, here are some great examples of stuff you guys probably haven't heard of. Thrice - Alchemy Index - Disk 2 (Water Disk) The song I posted is called Night Diving. This disk is only composed of 6 songs, and is only around 30 minutes long in total. The Alchemy Index is a four piece project that consists of four disks, each based around an element - Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. Each disk is vastly different from the other. For example, the Fire disk is a very loud, heavy, and in your face album. Water is the polar opposite - it's a disk composed of mostly of electronic instruments and synths, mixed with tons of ambiance. It's such a masterpiece in my eyes. Each song flows smoothly into the next, it's something you'd want to listen to from start to finish, preferably with some great headphones and in a quiet environment. I don't really want to explain much about the song, just listen to it and enjoy. An instrumental by a band called Underoath. You may know of them as being a typical, screamo band. That was in 2004. This song is from Define The Great Line, which is considered the turning point for the band, where they took an entirely different direction. But that doesn't really matter - the song is mostly an instrumental piece, and it's one of my favorite songs of all time. Drop your pre-expectations and just give it a shot, it's worth 7 minutes of your life, believe me. I consider this a chill song, you guys might be looking for something different. I usually associate "Chill" with ambiance, so yeah. Lastly, Deftones seem like a pretty chill band. I'd recommend a ton of stuff by them. I guess I can pick a popular one.
