Just a thought, maybe some people are redeemable.
Never suggested otherwise.
He's seemed pretty genuine about his apology
Link to apology?

I never saved the link so when I went to google it all I saw were a bunch of Anti links with headlines calling him opportunistic and such :V
Anyone else remember where he said it? I recall that he recanted the statements from a previous article where he insulted gamers.
I think it came up during the pakman interview too, but don't quote me on it
Whatever the case one thing I'm sure is that Milo has gigantic balls, the way he agreed to that debate on that feminist radio show and the way he handled that debate a few days ago, holy shit
he need's to watch JOJO, then play some street fighter. I think he would get part of the, "gamer" demographic.
I can't say what he needs to play to understand transsexuals.
Gender Bender DNA Twister Extreme.
uhhhhh no he thought they were more or less human garbage if you actually read his articles. They were at least as bad as the "Gamers are dead" posts, if not worse.
Did his viewpoints change because he admitted publically that he was wrong in the past and that video games and the culture that surrounds them are perfectly valid, or because he got a chance to ride the bandwagon going full-tilt into a crowd of liberal SJW's?
It's nice (and super convenient!) that he likes those games now and I don't mean to doubt his motives but has he ever walked back the several boneheaded articles he has written about video gamers in the past?
Are we going to give this journalist a an easy pass just because he happens to support our "side" of a hot scandal? Personally I'm still dubious.
This was already stated emphatically in the last thread, if you'd bothered to read it instead of cherry picking shit that raises your hackles. Milo speaks for no one but Milo.
I speak for me.
etc.
I'm genuinely excited for his Gamergate book.
I'd be more excited if I had more details on what he wants it to be. If it's just interviews, I'll be fine with it, but if he puts too much of an anti-liberal slant in it I'm afraid it wouldn't appeal to enough of an audience to actually inform the masses on what GG is about. I'd like to see a decent amount of contributions and opinions from people who aren't on any of the extreme ends of the political spectrum, or at least don't have ties to organizations that are. I'd really like to see a chapter or two co-written or with heavy contributions from Oliver Campbell, he's really passionate about GG (which may or may not contradict the "no political extremes" thing) and honestly it would be heavily beneficial for the mainstream masses (if they ever bothered to read this book) to see GG from the perspective of someone from the #NotYourShield crowd.
I'm still holding onto the hope that one day GG's reputation will be turned around and the mainstream media will finally report on it for what it is instead of what the opposition claims it to be. Milo's book could make or break that hope.

It's almost implying that killing someone is criticism.

All that I know is that the book will actually set the record straight. Someone asked him "Have you faced any kind of pushback from peers due to your wish to write this book or #gamergate in general? I'm not talking about the blogger crap, but like people you work with and respect approaching you trying to get you to step away?" and Milo's response was:
Yes, of course. They don't understand why I'd write a book "defending misogynists." To which I reply: "The fact that you think that's what GamerGate is about is precisely why I'm writing it. And why you should read it." They will.
Oooh, What did you say? Must've really gotten to him!
maybe gamergate needs to take a note out of this or something?

this article would be ok if the criticism came in the form of protest, not bullets.
Oooh, What did you say? Must've really gotten to him!
Honestly you could say anything to him and hed most likely block you, which is odd for a guy who compared mass murder to legitimate criticism.

A.I was being polite
B.I never said that was the truth, that's what he has said. Take it as you will.
this article would be ok if the criticism came in the form of protest, not bullets.
It would be ok if people who use that saying knew what criticism really was.

Good job completely sidestepping the point with your usual sardonic derision. I didn't cherry pick shit.
Like we've already, or I thought the general consensus was that Milo was about as trustworthy as a fat man trying to throw him, getting tired and passing out half way through just winding up to toss.
As a neutral party in this, it seems that both sides raise valid points and did some horrible things to further validate their point.
Except there is really no sides just a lot of individuals im not going to hold every anti-gamer responsible for gamejourno pros,Biddle,or any of the other BS done to further some twisted agenda, likewise Iam not going to be held responsible for every asshat who doxxes, and send threats.
Everything I have done in terms of GG is public and I am okay with that because I have done nothing wrong.
As a neutral party in this, it seems that both sides raise valid points and did some horrible things to further validate their point.
All I know is my gut says maybe.
I haven't paid much attention to Milo, nor have I ever really felt the need to.
rev up those ddos machines, because 8ch is getting shit on
not down entirely yet, but got a cloudflare error then reloaded the page and it reloads slow

Ah, okay. So, let me just get this straight for the record.
If people disagree with something that you've made, they are allowed to:
Shoot you
And they are most definitely not allowed to:
Criticise you on the Internet.
Okay, thanks for getting that straight!

Claims games cause violence and toxic masculinity, cries about it several times a day.
Apologizes for violence and murder caused by religion and a cartoon.
Josh sure has his priorities straight.
He is on a block spree he kicked the hornet's hive with the comments about Charlie Hebedo.
Good job completely sidestepping the point with your usual sardonic derision. I didn't cherry pick shit.
Yes, you did, as you have other topical posts you feel go over your imaginary line of moral rectitude. The literal question you asked was rather pointedly carried in both the previous thread, and further delineated in the same thread hexpunk posted "OMG YOU GUYS LISTEN TO MILO YOU'RE SO DRINKING KOOLAID" in which the exact same information about his motivations was delineated by several members; and you posted like three posts later under hexpunk so you're either A willfully blind, B not bothering to read anything but your own contributions, or C cherry picking topics you find annoying.
You may not care to pay attention to your patterns of posting, doesn't mean there isn't a pattern there, and you used to do this same topical hopping in most CoD/BF threads where you felt people were unjustified in their criticism of the games.

Murder is a valid form of criticism because it makes the person Josh dislikes shut up permanetly about everything. With a chilling effect (Josh's preferred tactic), people he dislikes can still say problematic things, which means they can still offend people.
Sorry if this was mentioned before but it looks like Based Gamer reached it's indiegogo goal.
Nathan Grayson being asked to be interviewed for the GG book. Not sure if this was posted in the old thread
-pics-
I hope Milo uses that letter, word for word, in his book to show why people from AGG haven't been interviewed.
