Fart has suggested that peeep.us is a good alternative for archive.today for the time being, even if files without a visit in a month may get removed.
welp. lizzy from twitter got completely doxxed. most likely paid for.
she left twitter and is going into hiding. rip.
Sigh, it's really annoying to find out that several of your friends are religious AGG'ers, the ones that are all "The other side are white manbabies and mysogonists! We're perfect little angels that can't do anything wrong!"

One thing I have noticed here in Denmark is that 90% of people only get mainstream news and doesn't seem to care about other things.
Even mainstream media.
(Maybe it's because I don't really live anywhere noteworthy)

I wish they were danish so I could knock some fucking sense in them, they are, as most militant aggers seem to be, american. they're also all like "lol can't be racist against whites" etc, just cause it doesn't happen in your cozy ass country doesn't mean it's not happening in other places like zimbabwe where whites can't even own land.

To change that, blast porn from your computer down the hallway.
Enjoy results.

If you're an older brother, then that sounds like a dream come true.

My mother and sister are devout tumblrette hardcore feminists and most of the people I associate with are pretty hardcore white dude saviours
I've learned to just keep my mouth shut
Archive.today is taking down archives because of DMCA requests. You can download archives by clicking the download button on each page. Make backups, etc etc.

Sounds like they are trying to villainize developers since some of them want ethic reforms. Just glad some triple AAAs have our backs.

Those are some intradesting points.
However, I feel that at this point, taking the name gamergate out of gamergate would kill it

bad game journalists burn
youtube and credible journalism is taking your place
Wtf
It is your duty as an older brother to both look out for your sisters, and annoy the ever living piss out of them.
So with them being Tumblerites, it's two birds with one stone. You look out from them by trying to peel them away from all that bullshit, and then you are bound to annoy the ever living piss out of them in the process.
Hey guys, Liz here. There's been a lot of talk the past few hours about what happened with me. Just to clear up a few things:
I won't be back to Twitter. This was professionally and thoroughly done, likely paid for, by someone who wanted to intimidate me. It worked. I kept my children private for this reason, I knew that eventually they would be used as a weapon against me. My plan, all along, was if that occurred I would deactivate. I was fully prepared for this, and intend to stick with it. I ask that anyone with any decency respect this.
I will not be on Reddit. There is already a username Lizzyf620 (seemingly to share the dox further). If you see a Twitter account, Reddit account, anything, claiming to be me, it's a lie.
I'm heartbroken over this. I invested a large amount of myself into GG, but - unexpectedly - invested even more of myself into you guys. I feel like I've lost all of my friends, and that hurts more than anything. I adore you all, please don't doubt that. The relationships I formed with you guys were, and still are, very real. For me, at least.
BOTH sides: this was not the work of GG, or anti-GG, or KIA, or Ghazi, or 8chan, or Baph. Don't blame groups, don't guilt by association. This is the responsibility of whoever posted it, and no one else. My life and my family are not politics, nor are they chess pieces in a match. They are mine, and only mine, and I ask that both sides respect this.
If anyone needs to get in contact with me, as a friend, I'm still always here for you. You can reach me through @TheBrandonMorse , @TheFartRises , or @Noprivilegeme. I sincerely and truly love you all. Go make some ethics happen, and be kind to one another ♡
Arbitration update:
Passed :
Scope of standard topic ban (I)
Tutelary topic-banned
TheRedPenOfDoom admonished
The Devil's Advocate topic-banned (still up for ban)
Tarc warned (still up for topic ban)
Cannot pass:
Gamaliel reminded
Tarc banned
Tutelary banned
Masem topic-banned
Other:
1 more vote until Ryulong is 12-month banned, faster if one arbitrators preference changes.
Devil's Advocate will be topic-banned as first preference unless votes change.
Masem is completely exhumed of all charges, second pass.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/GamerGate/Proposed_decision
Well, Ryulong's topic ban has the eight votes needed. His full ban has five votes, so he actually needs two more, as there is one abstention on it.
I find it hard to be optimistic about wikipedia, despite whatever the outcome of the arbitration is going to be
It took us months to get to this point and even if everyone ends up getting topic banned there's nothing stopping other SJWs from coming out of the woodwork and it'll be another 6 months before the next arbitration
Wikipedia's just too fucking awful and slow at sorting these things

I can't tell is this is good or bad because I'm bad at names therefore can't distinguish who was fair or not in that list?

Protip: Wayback Machine. If stuff gets DMCAed, it's merely "darked", and not nuked from the archive, unless it's something truly illegal to even possess (ie CP).

All outcomes lead to bans being handed out to both's sides, no side will "win" this (Except moderates!). None of them had the right of editing the article in the first place - it's just that one biased side attracted the other biased side to edit. (Happens on Wikipedia all the time.)
With Ryulong banned the article should be half and half assuming he does not get multiple puppet accounts. (A single one would be too obvious.) Ryulong and North were basically the sole reasons the article was biased since they would edit it almost everyday, all day and had connections to administration. (That connection has been 100% cut since they will be being watched.)
Otherwise, as long as the article is 50/50 it should make everybody happy - there will be much banning when it is unlocked however, as the scope of bans basically says if you even have a hint of being biased off-wiki, your gone.
Assuming administration is competent, there won't be an edit war and the article will be 50/50, if not, there will be a never-ending edit war until this blows over in a few years.

Hopefully it'll be a 50/50 thing. That alone will do a lot of good to repair GG's reputation.

Even if Wikipedia decides to be fair to GG, there will still be mainstream outlets who'll make smear pieces.
I doubt the reputation will be fixed anytime soon.

Yeah but that reputation (from news corps) is targeted at non-gamers, the only people it affects is the un-informed, and those people are usually people who play videogames and will Google it first, which normally comes up with the Wikipedia article, so if it's 50/50 then the reputation will be a bit better.
