What does Joystiq have to do with GamerGate? They closed because AOL was / is in trouble.
Joystiq journalists were/are in collusion with both publishers and GJP. Joystiq closing has nothing to do with GG.
The game looks atrocious

I disagree. If Engadget writers are taking over the duties of Joystiq staff it possibly means they could possibly be out of the corruption loop.
Then again, Ars Technca was proven corrupt by posting a 'gamers are dead' article.
Just a question: What happened to Reimu?
Real life shit, felt we were pushing too much in several directions.
I 'unno.

Disassociated from everything gg, last I heard he was focusing on eron and zq.
He hasn't popped in to this thread to the best of my knowledge, but he would in the old one still on occasion. His thing is that he felt GamerGate didn't really involve Zoe Quinn and what happened to Eron so much, which was his focus, so he backed out of it. And its not like we all haven't largely come to the same conclusion.
I've dodged all gg twitter drama since the early days, yet I decided to browse the steam discussions for revolution 60 and came across a certain thread. My head, one anti gamer going nuts on everyone, calling out neutrals, just shit stirring. Makes me want to take a gander at ghazi and see If it's the same mindset

To keep what's left of your sanity, I would suggest not going there.

That is literally the entirety of ghazi. They have no intention of ever actually discussing anything and are content to mock us from their "safe space" (echo chamber).

I've been reading a few bits of r/againstgamergate recently and I think this is what gamerghazi should be. It's amazing how much of rational discussion you can have when there's no shitposting.
Please stop posting pictures of Banana Wu's game, their faces genuinely freak me out
I voted for Brianna's game just beacuse it looks so awful in the actual gamepaly footage I've seen that I have to try it for myself.

It doesn't have a downvote button. That's actually pretty nice for a subreddit.

Tell Wu that the characters' designs trigger you, see how she reacts.

Just watch Winx club and draw a circle on paper every now and then and you'd get pretty much the same experience

Know thy enemy.
Don't bother contributing though, they outright ban any discussion vaguely defending even the idea of Gamergate.
So this happened:

So it seems they fired everyone form Joystiq, and are making Engadget cover video games now.
I'm sure this will go as well as when TechTV was combined with G4.

I've been posting on there for a while, I'm glad that there's moderates on there.

Unfortunately everybody I know how to contact is on their - I have been looking for a gamerghazi regular for months now - I often get a response which involves cussing or insults. They have no interest into discussion, but maybe I just need to find the right person. Although I can speak to a few through other people, I can't directly ask questions and they have to be disguised as random thoughts from a random person - actually one person went neutral because of that, still dislikes GG but doesn't like anti-gg either anymore - "They are radical." is basically what he/she said.

Yeah, just for the record: I don't give a fuck about both of them. As far as I'm concerned Milo contributed one thing to GG and that was releasing info regarding the Journo List. That's it. The only other thing I know about him is that he's about questionable as you can get on twitter, let alone his views on transgender people which are ridiculous.

Some tasty highlights:
In 2011, at Fantastic Arcade, I was talking to a former game journalist Tiff Chow who I recognized from her work at Destructoid in 2008. I asked what she thought would win the Best Game Award, she flippantly bragged that her boyfriend is friends with Brandon so he’ll win. (Ed: we don’t have permission to use the picture linked, but it shows Brandon, Steph and Tiff’s relationship. The couple are also part of a gaming collective with Phil Fish.) I took it as a bad joke. Next day, sure enough, he won Best in Show for Faraway, against games such as Fez (which won audience award), Skulls of the Shogun, Radical Fishing, and Octodad. It seemed fucked up, but it was such an insignificant show and I depended on Brandon as a local journalist so I stayed silent.
So, this developer Shawn McGrath approached me when Indie Game: The Movie came out and featured credits that libeled his friend Jason Degroot. Both of these guys were extremely influential on Fez; there’s a good argument that it’s their game. McGrath created the central mechanic, design, and code which was lifted from an earlier project he made with Fish that was a music game. Fish admitted to this as far back as 2007, but he’d say “the whole game is made around the 3D pixel aesthetic” or “it’s all designed around my Miyazaki influence”. This was dishonest however because it was really designed around McGrath’s mechanic.
Pretty good read overall.

There's some abrasive people, but Mudbunny was pretty chill with me.
Pinsof linked to this old interview with PF back in 2007:
His idea was the basic "rotation" idea used in Fez. I came up with a few ideas for the game's look. The first iteration was all about origami. You know, folding paper, folding space. It was pretty cool. But then one night I came up with the trixel idea. Pitched that to him, we both loved it, and that was it. But then we started having a few conflicting ideas about how we should handle this or that. Being a designer first and artist second, I couldn't just shut up and let him go ahead with what I thought was an absolute trainwreck of a design call. Mind you, by then everything was still super early, and those were the design calls that were going to shape the game. I had a very specific vision of how things should be, and he had a diametrically opposed vision of how things should be. But Shawn being the coder (I can't code shit), he had the bigger end of the stick. So we had a bit of a fight, and we kinda "broke up".

After getting to a score of 3000 and defeating the same boss, you'll get swarmed and overwhelmed in Lamergate. You'd have to break your spacebar to get past all this crap. The non-glowing fedora donners are moving at bullet-fast speeds.
I wonder what that new feature he's working on is.

That reminds me, I think Tech Raptor has archive.today blocked now due to it hurting their revenue. (Didn't try it.)
I'll make sure to put it on web.archive.org though in case it goes down.
[editline]edit[/editline] As expected, a few people were faster already
