well good luck with that...I imagine most people who are into gaming big are pc gamers. Even the people I didn't expect to be seems to be more into PC than consoles.
Dude, by PC gamer description, I'm a filthy console peasant. Even I sing the praises of the PC master race.
I just think its funnier that the PC Master Race has hit such high level's of Poe's Law that people take it seriously.
I wish magazines and journo's would stop writing dumb clickbait blogs with opinions most likely designed to anger a particular community or group of people as to generate controversy for even more clicks. When will they realize that in the long run these types of articles harm them greatly? [editline]a[/editline] Either that, or they really are just dumb and write heavily opinionated blogs. [editline]a[/editline] Oh look, I checked out PCgamer's editor in chiefs twitter and hes super-heavy anti-gg before this article was published what a surprise
The ABC video makes me quite uncomfortable. It's extremely biased but what I found very concerning is a big station like them censor all posts against their message. I thought we lived in different times.
I just want some goddamn respect, stop treating me like I am an idiot who doesn't research multiple sources before being unable to see censored shit. The damage control all these companies are doing is sickening and getting to the point where it's balant corruption.
Seems like never because they're probably getting paid to say the most stupid shit as that seems to lure a whole bunch of people more into reading the articles & giving them what they want: Views. Who knew professional shitposting would make loads of money? :v:

But hey, controversy sells, even if it's made up, overblown or directed at wrong people because they are easier target. Moneymoneymoney who needs ethics anyway?
also, prediction: assuming this whole dumb tone police crusade keeps going on, I have a feeling the nearest and next target is the usage of the term 'races' in many fantasy works to describe different sentient species living together. I have a feeling someone's going to write an article about how making different species act differently while also being of human-level intelligence is the product of a racist mind and works to keep institutional racism a thing. just watch, gonna call for the death of dwarves and elves as a means of stamping out racism out of the fantasy community
Cracked did an article saying exactly that like a year or two ago. You see small ones pop up on occasion on various sites.
It makes sense. They're probably trying to divide and conquer us by inciting fanboy hate.
How about we rev up those propaganda machine and launch a "Gamers Master Race" campaign? That way it's inclusive to the whole gaming community while still pissing off "politically correct" bloggers
Man, people doesn't seem to find shit to complain about these days, really. Or they're just frenetically trying to find something to complain about.
Cracked did an article saying exactly that like a year or two ago. You see small ones pop up on occasion on various sites.
Good to see that it had absolutely no influence on fantasy videogames whatsoever.
I got this somewhere on KIA, I looked up his twitter and though not looking through it all of what he said (incase one tweet is fake, but unlikely), he said some of the stuff alright. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/5kN3go7.png[/thumb] I feel like we're at the cusp before the fall of Rome.
Wait, this guy said 'Lol, 'evidence'' in response to... actual evidence? ... So somebody's word counts as evidence, but evidence is not evidence? Damn, my brain's getting some nice pecs from these mental gymnastics.

Should we be contacting ABC's parent company Disney directly over this censorship? If you want to be technical, TB works for Disney too.
https://archive.today/BEsZt Joystiq - Gaming While Black: Casual racism to cautious optimism written by white hipster trash Jessica Conditt. please white person, be offended for one of many american minorities. speak for them. you are their savior and megaphone. the comments section is not very amused.
Should we be contacting ABC's parent company Disney directly over this censorship? If you want to be technical, TB works for Disney too.
At the very least it's not going to cause harm to do that.
Should we be contacting ABC's parent company Disney directly over this censorship? If you want to be technical, TB works for Disney too.
it can't hurt so definitely yes

PC Gamer updates its disclosure agreement https://archive.today/mdCWh
Mission accomplished. Thank's for not being dicks PC Gamer.
Anything we make ought to be the start of a conversation rather than an attempt to end one.
This so much. [editline]a[/editline] Hopefully this will be the start of something better, a company actually admitting to their mistakes and owning up to it instead of blaming everybody else. Go give them a comment and show support. Something is better then nothing. Here's a non-archived link : http://www.pcgamer.com/a-note-on-disclosure/
good on PC Gamer! almost makes me want to resubscribe
And completely unsurprisingly, people are getting all uppity about it:
did he not notice that PCG was okay with him writing articles on ubisoft as long as he disclosed the relationship, and the guy voluntarily decided to stop writing ubisoft articles?
It's really nice that they came out and actually explained the situation like professionals. The only thing that tarnishes the whole scene is that they removed some of the articles. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they did that out of panic rather than to sweep the whole thing under the rug.
these people are exactly like those republicans in congress who vote against anything obama supports purely because obama supports it, no matter if it is actually super good and not partisan at all

He was doing that on his social media accounts at the same time, so its quite possible.
did he not notice that PCG was okay with him writing articles on ubisoft as long as he disclosed the relationship, and the guy voluntarily decided to stop writing ubisoft articles?
This is what aGG retards believe. They don't even read the whole goddamn thing. Even a guy I was talking to on twitter didn't read an article, and thought TB was getting paid for good reviews and linked me to that article that said the opposite. While the guy does retweet aGG stuff from time to time, he only does so because he's friends with quite a few people who are aGG. He knows enough shit from both sides to just stay neutral, but I think he only does it so his friends don't turn into "you're either with us or against" mode. tl;dr: aGG can't read.

Regardless I feel like we shouldn't question his motives too much when he's the one that's ultimately been the most honest about it so far.
