Come to Germany Its okay here
If I were to move to another country, it would probably be Texas or Alaska :v:
I've been living in Finland my entire life and can't wait to get out of this country. Not that there's much bad about it apart from the climate and commodities being quite expensive compared to almost anywhere else, but I just feel like I need a change. Also, we don't really have much education in the field I'm interested in studying, so there's that.

Odds are, no matter where one lives, it'll be tough because life is just tough in general.
Question, since I still have a few years, about how much would it cost (in rough estimates) to ship my sorry ass back to the Crown?
I'm not the most informed on the subject either (internets been out for the last two days) but i believe the "end" he is referring to is the impending government shutdown, which will shut down all non-essential government services.
This has happened before though.
I thought about leaving the country but i wouldn't know where to go..
I thought about leaving the country but i wouldn't know where to go..
Tahiti
Helsinki is a terribly expensive place to live in, if you're moving to Finland then choose another city.
Come to Pietarsaari. Majority of the people here speak Swedish so we're all fags ;)
literally nothing is going to happen lol these shutdowns aren't a huge deal when Republicans forced a shutdown during Clinton's administration their approval ratings plummeted. Here they are doing it again. Look at the positive: Republicans shooting themselves in the feet.
Is USA in a really bad shape? It seems a lot of people are just fine living there but then all this things happen and makes me think otherwise. It's weird because I really want to go there someday. Maybe it's just overreactions all around.
It's literally mad max over here right now.
Sweden sounds nice this time of year, oh and Denmark with its free education.
Sweden has free education as well! Hooray for free education!

the government is not going to shut down.
There is a place more expensive than Denmark?
Norway?
The Pacific NW seems pretty solid on things that we actually get to call the shots on. While I am just as pessimistic about the future of the US as many others here, I figure when it does all end, the PNW will either become our own sovereign nation or get annexed by Canada. Can't really lose by staying put, I suppose.
Screw the states, I'm going to Kenya. Good ol' sustainable agriculture lies in my future.
I've read this thread and I'm still confused as to what is going on. Can someone please explain?
Yeah but then they gained the presidency for two terms afterward :tinfoil:
They lost the immediately succeeding election
America is depressing.
You guys have it all wrong, moving will only delay the inevitable. If you really want to survive the apocalypse you should go out and buy a muscle car, some leather clothes and a sawed-off shotgun [t]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_hKkYZ9GWzKA/Sxo10gtIUbI/AAAAAAAAEUg/JSROCu5qAMg/s1600/mad-max.jpg[/t] [editline]30th September 2013[/editline] Honestly once you leave the cities the southwest is practically a Mad Max movie anyway
I'm selling and deleting everything I own and I'm starting a new life in Helsinki, Finland. I suggest my fellow Americans do the same, before the entire country traps us all in poverty. Farewell again.
Hello and welcome! I also live there. <3 [editline]30th September 2013[/editline] Also, since you guys stole our Nokia you better be good at drawing angry looking birds to make up for that if you're going to have a job here.
come to brazil
My main problem with Finland, is that unless you live in a big city, you're going to get so fucking bored eventually. You can't bother to travel anywhere countrywise, because it's so far and gas is so fucking expensive. So you're just stuck in your small town in the middle of nowhere, waiting for summer.

Becoming a part of a cult to summon an elder god onto the unsuspecting world? You know, the usual stuff.
This thread taught me that Scandinavian countries are very alike. Brb, moving to Iceland.
