judging by this thread within a month I am going to be the only living person living in the usa
Collect pig shit
Make fuel
That's one thing I learned from Mad Max.
United States Govenrment shut down day, or learn a Scandinavian language day.
I wasn't joking. Yesterday was an excellent time to pick up on some Swedish. Honestly if I were to ever move to another country, that's where I would go. Also not learning the native language sounds like a dick move, even if English is pretty common.
I don't even live in a city but I get 20 megabit unlimited downloads are you telling me that that's not good haha
In Sweden you can get 100/100 fiber every day of the month without restrictions for 50-60 bucks a month. (That'd be living in a city and not in the countryside.)

At least you didn't have to learn English.

It's pretty similar to English I think. Though I took a Chinese class in High school. Worst decision I've ever made.
I was asked why I would switch to Swedish over Chinese when only like 8 million speak Swedish. Well Sweden is a place I want to travel. That's like asking why I don't want to learn Indian.
I know how to say things in Swedish, it's just that I don't know much of the vocabulary.
I wish it was offered it high school.
The end is near for real folks. If you can't see what is comming, then there is no hope for you.
Wake up or Die.
Bahamas, bermudas, belize or the dutch antiles would be quite an exotic choice if you were to take a break from USA for a while.
But then again, If shit really hits the fan The lesser populated parts from, or adjacent to the USA might become vulnerable to foreign interventions. I'm thinking about ressource-rich N-V&Alaska.Places that rely on USA's power such as the panama canal might be considered ripe for the taking aswell. We'll see how this plays, considering how Russia has really strenghtened its reputation since the syrian problem arrised.
Also, I doubt that, with the USA in shutdown, Moldova,Georgia,Azerbaijan,Ukraine or Belarus will even consider joining the EU at the november meeting in Vilnius. This winter might bring some chills to our spines.
Man who needs Tom Clancy when you have pessimistic conspiracy theorists to write convoluted ideas for global war and political breakdown
As far I know the government has already shut down.
While it may not affect us, it still is something to be angry about.
My mom is on furlough.
In other words, she doesn't get to go to work until the shutdown is over, and doesn't make money.
AKA we lose our house because I can't make enough money to pay the bills myself
I'm not the most informed on the subject either (internets been out for the last two days) but i believe the "end" he is referring to is the impending government shutdown, which will shut down all non-essential government services.
It shouldn't last long. The last one back in the 90s only lasted for a couple of weeks.
Come to Russia to regain will to live in America

im going to australia
Just come to South Dakota. Nothing happens here.
EVER
Thats a funny way of Spelling North Dakota
Why Finland? Everything's expensive as shit and as a bonus to that, it's hard to get a job.
Gas is 5-10 times more expensive for example. I don't want to get a car because of that, it's infinitely cheaper to go with the 58€/month bus-card.
Living in cities is expensive as shit as well. For example, I want to get an apartment in Tampere, closer to my workplace (now I'm 20km away) but I can't because a 40m2 apartment within 10km costs AT LEAST 200 000€. So I need to be far away, though this apartment is new-ish (built in 2004). Other choice would be to move into something that's been built in the 1960s or something and never repaired since.
But far-away houses and old apartments negate the "good internet" -reason because you can get a max. of 8mbps through the ages old copper-wiring (phone lines). And even that's max. speed AKA speed that never happens.
Come to Hong Kong
We have fiber connection

What, I pay 38 USD for my unrestricted 200/100 Mb/s connection.
Alright guys here's my plan.
Once everyone leaves the country I shall gather up the small groups of American resistance left, and we shall all move to the Dakotas.
Then, using our unanimously overwhelming majority in the elections we will vote out all of the congressmen and replace them with ourselves, thus taking control of the government.
What do you say resistance? What shall our new country be called?

I believe only the old people'd better reside in Northern Enrope, a quite place without much amazement. The young ought to take risks and try something new in life.

Well come to China you guys. Then you guys will know what a real happy life is like. You earn 3000¥ a month whereas you need to pay 50¥ per month for the fucking internet that has a maximum speed of 100kb/s; 60¥ for 500 gram of boiled beef, 2000¥ for the fucking monthly house-rent,100,000¥ for a motherfucking car,10,000¥ for a single square meter of house. People's republic of China is a heaven for you adventurous guys.
My plan is to get away to some tropical island and live an ascetic life in nature. Whether things are good or bad. Never to see technology again for years.
And maybe in 50 years I'll come back to see how everyone's doing and make sure if flying cars, sex bots, lunar colonies and shit are a thing yet.
Being a recluse has its perks.
All hail deng xiaoping.
This makes me wonder, why poor countires get so many people, such as china, bangladesh. and usa although beying so rich has sparsely populated parts like the dakotas. whats up with that anyways, why is nobody there?
Moving isn't hard. It's avoiding getting caught by immigration services that is the challenge :v:
Thats the nice part of living in a european country. You can move wherever you want inside of europe without trouble.
I'd rather die then leave my homeland. It may not be much but it's all I know.
