Wow, that episode was seriously a disappointment for me. I thought I would cry when David left. I had a tear in my eye when he said "I don't wanna go", but when Wilfred was in the radiation tank I cried. But I don't get how he had so much time to say goodbye to everyone. I liked it, especially the bit with Rose, but shouldn't that also have gone back on his "timeline relative" bullshit? Still, I liked the bit when he said "Oh you are going to have a great year".
And the women was his mother. Internet says so.
The internet says that we're going to die in 2012 by some planet that was debunked years ago.

...and that girls have penises.
Man I hope this is good
Anyone notice that whenever there is a doomsday thing , it's always the same?
Everyone goes batshit , doctor can't do anything , bad shit happens , then he stops it.
Can't we at least have one episode that has a permanent impact on earth?
but that would be straenge because that permanent impact wouldn't be on the real world.

Alien ship crashed into Big Ben
A giant star killed several people in London
etc. etc.
It's the Whoniverse, they could do what they want without impacting the real world.
But the issue is then that people who've not seen Doctor Who before will be wondering why the Earth is so different, ah well.
Its suposed to be based around the univurse so if you give it earth 2 moons or somthing then its not... I want to know what the Nightmear Child is.
Matt Smith is a total bellend that needs to go get a haircut.
Honestly.

Rose didn't know who the doctor was, he acted like a randomer on the street so she wouldn't have had a clue. It's quite complicated but if you think back to when Ecclestone's doctor first met Rose, think a few moments back and he was there.
I think Matt Smith is trying too hard to be like Tennant. Already.

And i'm sure we were saying the same when Ecclestone turned into Tennant. Tennant had as much more hair than Ecclestone did, than Smith had over Tennant.

I know that, but surely she'd have remembered his voice/what he looked/SOMETHING when Eccleston regenerated? Because even then, he could've interfered with his timeline even just a bit.

The internet doesn't mean a forum. And Wikipedia doesn't always mean wrong, if it's been researched.
Though never identified in the story, in the commentary for part two Julie Gardner refers to the woman as "The Doctor's mother".
Your remember details of every random person on the street that you can then recall a whole year later?
At most you would get a mild deja vu sense about them, but even that would be unlikely.
Poor Tennant, I just watched the Confidential episode, and he actually was emotional while shooting his last scene. :(

I cried. It was really sad, knowing that [sp]when he regenerated, he'd be gone for good; it'd be someone completely different who just happened to have the same memories and knowledge.[/sp] That was a cruel bit of information to give to the audience, and instantly made me dislike the new doctor.
It made me really sad when he said "I don't want to go".
Seriously, I had a tear.
Surprised nobody's mentioned the bit where [sp]The Master sacrifices himself for The Doctor[/sp], for me, that scene was one of the best moments in Who history.
I found it ironic that they focused so much on his reluctance to die when he was written out of the series because Tennant wanted to leave.
I don't think he wanted to leave per-se he just didnt want to be typecast/overused. He has been doing it for 4 years.

I've noticed that everybody seems to be oblivious to everything even though Aliens invade England and Wales every few weeks. You'd think they would be less "WHAT THE FUCK SOMETHING UNUSUAL" after so long. They mentioned in a Christmas special a few years ago (Titanic) about people being tired of being invaded every bloody Christmas and then the next one was set in the 19th century... Yet nobody remembers the giant fucking steam cyberman which attacked Victorian London. Apart from UNIT and whatnot everybody seems to be pretty damned forgetful. Nobody seems to care much that scores of people randomly die all the time in horrible ways. Torchwood for example, I only saw the first series but there was some bit where fucking everybody in Cardiff died when some shadow was cast on them.

How could she have if she had never met him? The other rose was on a parallel universe.
He went back to Rose before she got sent to another universe. To Rose at the time he was just some guy on the street saying Happy New Year and seeming drunk, do you remember anything about random people on the street?
My problems with the last episode:
1) The cactus aliens sucked, both in acting skill and appearance (the look like fucking cactus people for fuck's sake, and the woman in particular was a terrible actor)
2) Surely a planet full of clones of the Master would just turn into anarchy? The Master is completely insane, never takes orders, and is constantly scheming to get ahead. There is no way they would work together, it would just be like that old Red Dwarf episode with a planet full of Rimmers.
3) Pick a tone, and stick with it. That episode shifted far two quickly between intellectual conspiracy theory stuff, soap opera bollocks, b-movie aliens, over the top action scenes and sad parts. I like the episode to be varied within itself, but this took it to an extreme and none of the individual elements were particularly good. Personally, if they had kept it in the desolate, run down urban areas the Master was hiding in, with the master conducting everything in the wasteland it would have been much better, but nooooo, they had to bring in the annoying green aliens. It seemed like everyone was letting Russell T Davis just do whatever he wanted, with no one telling him what was a bad idea.
4) The Radiation booth thing. It made no sense, didn't fit, and was generally shoe horned bullshit.
So, all in all it wasn't a terrible episode, but it was in no way what David Tenant deserved as a last episode. I am looking forward to seeing where Moffat takes the show, his episodes have been good, and generally darker and more intelligent than

I thought it was quite good in the christmas special a few years ago when no one was in London on christmas day, because it's never safe.

At the end of the episode it never happened in the first place.
In The Last of the Time Lords, the Master hadn't killed 10% of the population since it never happened in the first place.
Davros came back because his death never happened in the first place.
I'm getting tired of these reset buttons of sorts. There just happens to be a button that destroys all Daleks and/or Cybermen a lot of the time too. It's all down to bad writing a lot of the time, in my opinion.

And yet for some reason, in "turn left" everyone in London died even though the circumstances should have been exactly the same.

shush =[ i know what i did wrong! i tried to media tag a website >.> i keep doing that =[
well.. one of the links works.. the other.. not so sure.
Personally, I think that the episode was decent. And the person who said a planet of Masters would make anarchy, I think they're some kind of hivemind. They're basically taking orders from themself.
Also, bet the Master comes back in either the next series or the series after.
Also, bet Sarah Jane will meet a Cactus Person in the next series of SJA.
Also, bet everyone will love Matt Smith as soon as an episode comes out.
