Also, bet everyone will love Matt Smith as soon as an episode comes out.
I agree with you completely. This is so reminiscent of the Left 4 Dead 2 Survivors and when Tenant first came in.
BLU Spies, UNITE! Why I is dumb? :downs:
I think it needs a certain mindset: It's an entirely new show. Matt Smith can't ruin Russel!Doctor Who as Russel!Doctor Who is over for good - all the loose plot ends are more or less tied up. It's just another aspect of the Doctor Who mythos. So in a way, I've eaten my words. I want to see the next lot of Doctor Who, especially if it's as terrifying as that weeping angel one that (I'm ashamed to admit) had me looking suspiciously at statues for several days afterwards.
Well I couldn't care less what you guys think, I thought it was a smashing end to Tennants Career in Doctor Who.
I just watched it again and i lots of parts where there are multipul Masters the ones in the Army gear turn and the barrel of the gun gets choped off becaue it enters the other futage of the master standing there.... Also The glove that the lord President wears is the one that they used in Torchwood... the one they used [sp]to bring back Owen Harper[/sp]... I have looked all over the Web and no one else seems to have noticed this.

[sp]The timelord woman dressed in white that was following Wilf and talking to him, who was she? Apparently that actor was going to be playing the Doctor's mother. What confuses me was they seemed to be implying she was the White Guardian, which makes sense if you think about it. Mabye she's both. The Doctor must have a really messed up family.[/sp] Which is possible if he/she is a timelord, seeing as time lords can change gender upon regeneration. (The Doctor thought he was a girl when he regenerated after feeling his hair, which implies it's possible)
For all those who think it's dragging out to long, the doctor can only regenerate once or twice more (thirteen in total) so the show can't be going on for more than around 6-7 years.

I also thought that it might have something to do with the statues from Blink because of the way they were 'weeping', as the statues are returning in the new series maybe she will come back then and there will be some connection.

They'll have some epic plot to give the Doctor more lives, don't worry, they won't suddenly stop the cashflow for no reason.

However, the twelfth incarnation of every Time Lord is supposed to be evil, which should be interesting.

I don't think the doctor is quite that keen to survive.
Complaint We've received complaints from viewers who believed a line in the second part of Doctor Who: The End of Time was insulting to people with ginger hair. The BBC's response We would like to reassure viewers that Doctor Who doesn't have an anti ginger agenda whatsoever. This was a reprise of the line in the Christmas Invasion episode in 2005, when David Tennant discovers that he's not ginger, and here he is, missing out again - disappointed he's still not ginger. In addition, the Doctor's previous companion Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) and his new one Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) are both redheads.

From Wikipedia: "A similar-looking glove was used by the Time Lord president Rassilon in the Doctor Who episode "The End of Time". Rassilon was the name of the founder of Time Lord society wasn't it? I don't understand why he was mentioned at all.

Rassilon was the name of the founder of Time Lord society wasn't it? I don't understand why he was mentioned at all.
Because the current Doctor Who has very little to do with the old Doctor Who and so they just randomly pick things out of the old shows, betting most people won't notice? Also holy shit, looking at the wikipedia article on Rassilon I've realised that you don't tend to see ugly people on TV anymore. They're all reasonably attractive! D: - Hideous! - Hawt!
Anyone else notice this? [DARTH VADER THEME PLAYS] We shall crush the Doctor with the might of the Force! Don't try to frighten us with your sorcerous ways, [del]Vader[/del] Rassilon. I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Sorry to bump this, but I just found some of the tracks from The End of Time including the amazing 'Vale Decem' Where the Doctor is about to Regenerate: Check the user's channel for the other tracks, they are simply amazing.
