Timelords have been talked about for this finale for AGES. As was Timothy Dalton being casted as one. Was amazing though :D
Timothy Dalton is a timelord in the new one?
Doctor who has been going down hill since after series 2. It's just starting to make no sense, like how they make things up on the spot so they can make other things fit in with the plot, no matter how stupid and impossible they are.
I liked series 3. But then :frown: Oh no I didnt after looking at the episodes season 3 was shit
Okay internationals and bored Brits, 45 minutes till the FPTV screening. www.livestream.com/facepunchtelevision
Ugh. The head shaking.. If I was directing that I would of used the regeneration effect, more tense and climatic. I also wouldn't of made The Master so fucking crazy. If his body was turning against him the character would most likely act more ragefull than crazy. Remember when Jacobi first revealed as the master. The hate in his eyes. Or when Simm had his darker serious moments. Even with the elements of madness it was never THAT mad. It had a clever evil behind it. Here they have abandoned that character completly. It's John Simm playing somebody new entire. I'm all for The Master acting crazy but can we have a bit more darker John Simm speaches to the doctor. And less shooting lasers as the doctor walks in slow motion from them. [editline]01:12AM[/editline] And I also liked Series 3. It was Tennants darkest series.
As soon as the voice over guy was seen I guessed it would be the Time Lords, just looked Time Lordish. Really wanted to like it more than I did as it has 3 of my favourite actors in, Tennant, Simm and Cribbins, but it just was missing something. Simm's acting was great but the character wasn't written well enough and Tennant was near enough bipolar at times. Seemed very rushed as well as things kept happening without any real explanation, would of preferred 3 hour long shows and for it to of been less rushed. Hoping the next episode is more like what I know Dr. Who is capable of.
On another note. Doctor will use gun. Something will happen. Bernard kills doctor. That's my bet for series finale.
Tennant, Simm and Bernard
Don't you mean Tennant, Simm and Cribbins I was confused as fuck for a moment
He said he would only be The Doctor as long as it was fun. :frown:
Well that's a sign for the new series.
Don't you mean Tennant, Simm and Cribbins I was confused as fuck for a moment
Ah, that is a good point. Did not notice I typed that...
Sigh, sadly us American doctor who fans get screwed with release dates over here.
I watched it on youtube just this morning.
Just watched the new episode on TV a couple hours ago. I wasn't expecting that ending. Can't wait for New Years episode.
I just saw confidential on the iPlayer, and the amount of costume changing was monumental, I think they said 32 changes for John Simm within a couple of hours.
is it me, or does the doctor say the same thing everytime something dramatic happens? "NU, IT CUHNT BEE" "JU CUHNT HAB!"
why is the master so fucking crazy The Jacobi master was more fitting to the old master
The Ood are great, and the Master is awesome. Can't wait.
Here come the drums...
The Master (John Simm) was also Sam Tyler in 'Life on Mars', I thought I recognised him.

Just saw it. Does this mean Donnas back?
Donna started to remember, but if she does it will destroy her so I'd guess no. The episode is being repeated on BBC Three now.
