after seeing about 20seconds of him I already hate him he doesn't act like 'The Doctor' enough
Tenant acted similarly after he started; "New teeth that's weird". He's just disorientated I'd think.
Also did he say "Am I a girl" ? Would that mean he could change gender in the future?
I hope not though, and I wonder why the TARDIS was exploding and bursting into flames at the end.

No thanks.
There's no point bringing on the dramatics "Doctor Who's dead to me now", "I turned off the TV" etc. Give the new Doctor a chance at least.
In the transition from Eccleston to Tennant I swear everyone was saying the same thing.
Y'know what, I wish they would go away because every time they come back it's just slowly killing the concept of them. Sure, the Daleks are an incredible enemy but do they really have to come back EVERY FUCKIGN SERIES?
Apparently they do otherwise the BBC loses them or something like that.

I watched it entirely and I still think Matt Smith looks like a bell end and I refuse to give him a chance.
whatttt?
It's something my friend said along the general lines of "there has to be daleks in every series or they have to stop using them"

But David Tennant was actually good, Eccleston was shit.
I don't like the look of the new doctor. He is supposed to be a wise "sage" that people can look up too, the new one looks like a jumpy bastard who hangs around other teenagers, i don't want a teenage doctor who :(
Although I did laugh when he felt his chin and said something like good lord.

Eat your words, pig.
But seriously, I wholeheartedly disagree with you.

Haha yeah I liked him too
I think Matt Smith has already proven his acting talent in other productions so I'm hoping he'll make a good Doctor. I hate that tweed jacket and bow tie outfit though, it's just horrible.
This post is probably going to be a disagree magnet, but Season 1 of the new season was my favourite one. The daleks were done so well in that one.

To me it seemed as though he'd wondered on from the set of Eastenders by mistake and ended up becoming The Doctor.
Better than Martha/Donna who'd wandered on from the set of dumb and dumber
I liked him. People are saying "He acts nothing like the 10th".
But isn't that the point?
I only started watching them when Tennant had already arrived, but I've seen a few with older doctors, and Tennant is by far the best in my opinion.

I agree, i didn't like the newer tennant episodes as much as the older ones, like Blink.

I didn't mind Martha, but Donna was probably the most annoying companion ever.
Yeah that link posted earlier (http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/newyear/)
Hooooooo-ly shit. Even if something happens and he totally sucks as the Doctor. At least the writing looks 100% better. Laser Screwdriver, attractive companion, stone angels, Falcon Punch and swordplay.
If this series fails it's because Tennant fan girls do some shitty petition.
And the writing WILL be better. The crappier episodes were written by RTD and now he's fucked off.

To be fair quite a lot of doctor who is fairly dross. A couple of episodes are totally great though.

Agreed but kind of don't. I do think his storys are generally underwhelming.
I think the worst tennant episode was when he was on the first Mars spacestation and he knew they were all going to die. I can't remember the name of the episode, but it was shit.
EDIT:
Because of the writing.
Gahh! He is violent now?! man thats going to ruin it. Some of the bad guys look good though.

The Waters of Mars, it was called.

Seriously? That was one of my top 5.

I never found it to be exciting at all during any point in the episode.
What was going on with all the Aliens and Cpt. Jack and Alonso in that club place?
Also, Jack and Alonso GET. IT. ON. :q:

Anybody see this episode? I was crying with laughter whenever Catherine Tate opens her mouth. She's soooo slow and it's funny.
Worst episode of the new seasons, in my opinion, has to be the one with the Agatha Christie jerkoffery and giant wasps. It was just boring.
Also, holy yes to possible imperial and renegade Dalek return. I hope the EP will be written by Moffat, he'd do a stunning job.

That scene made me angry. They have so many great aliens yet they keep bringing back The Daleks.
