That's actually pretty good.
You guys make me feel bad :saddowns:
I mean, I listen to really heavy shit, but I'm not saying that you guys don't listen to heavy stuff.
You know what, I'm just going to make everyone happy and not visit this thread again cause pretty much all I do in this thread is get negative attention.
Thats what metalheads do to each other
Man up

here's a friendly for your suffering
Ok, really, should I post a list of some of the bands I listen to off the top of my head?
yes

You only said you listen to dimmu and some other band.
Meow, the stuff you listen to is probably more "accepted" in here than a lot of what I listen to. :v: So don't worry.
Off the top of my head:
Cannibal Corpse
Amon Amarth
Slayer
Iron Maiden
Dimmu Borgir
Killswitch Engage
Nightwish
Dethklok
That's about average for this sub forum dude.
It's hardly mind shatteringly heavy, this, in my opinion is heavier than a neutron star.

And this is infinitely more massive than a singularity:

Holy shit. Off the bat, thats heavy.
I LOVE IT. Not just because its heavy, its amazing.
If you like that then listen to this:

When it properly kicks in and the big riffs start rolling in like a god damned machine gun I always fail to stop grinning.
Fuck I hate Dimmu Borgir.
Well, everyone has their own opinions and tastes, right?
no they don't what are you talking about
music is objective
Well, everyone has their own opinions and tastes, right?
Exactly, that's why I said I hate Dimmu Borgir.
I feel so different.
I listen to really really heavy stuff, most of the stuff here is light, in my opinion.
Born of Osiris or whatever is pretty good though.

Iron Maiden
Dimmu Borgir
Killswitch Engage
Nightwish
You got me there, man.
lol killswitch engage

Why do you keep picking songs from Face The Colossus? Lol.
What Hell is About is a much stronger album in my opinion. :v:
Anyways, have some more Daogba, MEOW.

The new album of Amon Amarth is just beautiful. I bought it the day after the release and it was worth every Euro. My favourite songs are "War of the gods" and "Töcks's taunt".

As far as I know, this is the only song from Surthur rising on youtube yet.

Only Amon Amarth song I've ever heard is Twilight of the Thunder God, and so far this song has very similar song structure, tempo, riffs and chord progressions. Not saying they're bad, but both songs sound pretty much the same to me.
EDIT: Wow, the chords in the chorus are IDENTICAL, just a whole step down.
They're kinda the dragonforce of melodeath
[editline]1st April 2011[/editline]
Seeing em on sunday though, supporting Children of Bodom
At least its melodeath and not made famous because of Guitar Hero.
I mean, they may be generic, but they're still manly and badass.
True as fuck
They're generic (in that they write the same song over and over basically :v:) but they're a brilliant band.
And guys, unless Slayer are FUCKING GOOD trolls, Jeff Hanneman has left Slayer :smith: Bad timing because of the date but apparently it's true. It's everywhere. His flesh-eating virus has got too bad to be able to continue playing in Slayer. Maybe he'll recover but for now he's had to leave.
Sucks :smith:

What interested me more was the previous article.

I suspect it may be an April Fools though.
Yeah I was just gonna post that
It's real too, I think. There seems to be a few pages about it at least.

Mike Portnoy in corpse paint :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Great, if it's true it means Kerry can get interviewed and spread even more inane stupid shit -_-
Like what :v:
Also I'm pretty confused. I think Slayer have three guitarists right now
There's Exodus' guitarist and Pat O'Brien recently confirmed to be playing live with them too. But Kerry's still playing, right?
The two new ones will probably share the duties.
Every interview I've read of his just seems like he's some holier than thou "true metal" asshole, the kind people stop being when they're 15.
Oh wait sorry, he's gonna be joining later when Exodus start touring and Gary Holt has to go back.
