If it weren't for Guitar Hero I would've never gotten into metal. I know it's kind of sad, but One by Metallica was the first extreme metal song I ever got into. Then I listened to the whole album, then MoP, then Ride the Lightning... Next thing you know, I'm a Metallicahead. The obnoxious "MetallicA is the best band ever megadeath SUCKS" kind. Thank God I've moved on.

All my friends at the time were trying to convince me to get into In Flames and I was like "lolno" By myself I decided to listen to The Jester Race, but they were all "Oh no their old stuff sucks, Come Clarity is waaaay better" I listened to both and I didn't like either, but from what I've heard Come Clarity is when they sold out

Nope. Reroute To Remain is if you listen to the hardcore old school In Flames fans. They didn't sell out in my opinion, they just changed their musical style. I mean, fuck, Jesper, the main songwriter wrote most of the last 5 albums, you can't expect him to stay with one style for the rest of his life...

And just look how much bigger they've gotten because of it. I'd say they sold out.
