When was that stated? I could swear it was announced as a world tour >.>
Don't you know?
"World tour" means "every place in the world except where you live tour" :v:
Meshuggah and opeth, fucking brutal and a couple of the best bands in the world IMO.
They're gonna be in The Classic Grand in Glasgow in May. Hoping to go if it's not over 18s since apparently their last uk tour was. not that you'll have a problem with that though :v:
I've never actually been to a metal gig despite the amount of black and doom metal I listen to. Not expecting much of a full out noise assault seeing as how I've seen bands like A Place to Bury Strangers and that. Might go though, how much is it ?
Well, I bought it about a week ago but I just started listening to the final frontier for the first time, the only things i've heard previously is the short version of the final frontier and el dorado.

While they usually come to the UK during world tours it's always in London and MAYBE one or two other dates in other big England cities. Thing is, I live in Scotland which is up north and it would take something like 5 hours to drive to London :argh:

Replied to something earlier.

Maybe 5 hours in a DeLorean :v: takes about 7-8 to drive down, just under 5 on the train. Hence why I always get the train :v:
Eh I've never driven anywhere past Cumbria so idk really lol. Went to Cumbria in the summer for a holiday is why.
also have an accidental agree
The final frontier was awesome, I also bought a remastered (i think) version of hero's return by hammerfall.
Which is, by the way, the greatest shit ever.

Sludge it up fuck yerrr
Oh cool Rob Zombie's gonna be in Edinburgh in June
I probably wouldn't bother going to see him in Glasgow but I might since it's right here. And my stepdad really likes him too, i'm sure he'd be interested
oh come on kyle that's a cool song but really I don't feel like it belongs here
even if it is proto-drone metal or whatever
For any stoners here, get some Hollow by Pantera double fucking volume, the last half will rip the fuck out of you
and so will Chaos AD

Bought Dopethrone by Electric Wizard vinyl today. The guy that served me told me they were touring soon and possibly playing Glasgow but I can't find anything on it. Does anyone know ?
oshit really? Sweet. Man the first few months of this year are awesome for gigs

You must not listen to much thrash if you think Slayer solos are "typical"

I pretty much only listen to thrash, 90% of the music on my computer / mp3 player is thrash. But i've got the certain type of thrash i prefer over others, rough vocals, fast riffs + distorted guitar & the typical thrashy drums. Usually this type of thrash has those really disappointing solos, in exchange for killer-riffs :sigh:

And i was mostly talking about nuclear assault, their solos are sometimes a little disappointing, but the band is still amazing, nonetheless.

A lot of the time in the US, it seems to mean they tour the rest of the world. I got excited when SoaD announced a world tour this year, but it's everywhere but the US it seems.
