I'm about to write some for my project on the 80's trash metal (The Big Four mostly), anyone got anything they think I should include? Been thinking of learning some songs to play as a part of the project.

make sure to include all of the bands people were in and where the bands got their influence

for example kirk was in Exodus before metallica and chris poland was a jazz musician, and slayer loved DRI & Minor Threat, hardcore music and proto-hardcore (particularly bands like Misfits, anti-nowhere leauge, dead boys, and discharge) being the driving force between NWOBHM style music heard on early thrash like Show No Mercy or Exciter's albums to albums with more speed and edge like Reign in Blood.

You need to talk about the massive impact and influence they had on modern metal. Nearly every band nowadays grew up listening to 80's thrash.
