I love that whole album. Personal favorite after SBG.
Today's oxymoron:
Folk Metal
How is that an oxymoron..?
Folk and metal do not defy each other in theirselves
My mom informed me of a band called Project Decay.
Ambient drone doom metal with a female vocalist.

The female vocalist is scary D:
I'll have to check that out. She did amazing vocals in Thorr's Hammer.

Vikings had electric guitars, you didn't know that?
They invented them.

Fosho. If you like Thorr's Hammer check out Dark Castle. Awesome stuff.
Folk Metal is the shit. Especially heroic folk metal, that will make anyone feel awesome.
I have just discovered Guthrie Govan.

It would be cool if a depressive black metal band used a bass tuba instead of electric bass
I want to see Bubblegum Octopus live.

If you don't know who they are, it's a progressive elecronic deathcore-band from Germany.

Guthrie Govan is captain of my life ship.
How he can play all that considering he's normally pissed out his head and high as a kite is beyond me
I really never understood black metal
Why the armor? Just why?
Why not
...:v:
Anyone into 'Integrity'?

cause they're trying too hard
Tell that to Kiss.
It's just theatricality
Kiss don't count, they're too awesome
I've heard black metal better than kiss :smug:
I don't listen to either
My favorite Black Metal bands don't have corpse paint or armor. Then again most of them fuse Black Metal and Post-Rock. Many times Folk as well.
euro and dead had the best corpse paint

wrong
ask any Norwegian black metal originator and they'll tell you about how it's taking back their country from the christians
read "the lords of chaos"
Maybe to begin with. But the meaning of the corpsepaint as well as the message 90% of bands carry now is pure theatricality
