Yeah, apparently Garry deleted all the posts pre-2009 or something, deleting our postcounts with it. Speaking of such, what is my count at now? Probably significantly lower than 10k, since most of those posts were made around the time of GM9. :v: [editline]:gizz:[/editline] Jesus Christ I lost 7000+ posts. :v:
RIP oldfag posts
Very sadface :(. I want to remember my shitty posts when I was younger :(. "Forever young, I want to be forever young..."
Aww shit, my friend was supposed to bring me my CD today. Guess he will get it to me on Monday.

No, it's the metal Megathread
So. At work at 6 in the morning, listening to dagoba. Fuck I could listen to cement mixers and shearing metal right now and I'd hail it as the best shit ever. Fuck I need a cement mixer and shearing metal, I'll make the most avante garde black metal ever.
hey guys i hate <slipknot, korn, ect> because its <popular, not techno, everything except rap is gay> /facepunch
I like Slipknot, because it's what I listen to. We're not even that judgemental here.

I've never listened to grindcore before, but I am really enjoying Terrorizer. Can someone recommend some other grindcore bands? Please don't say Anal Cunt.

Oh yeah, now that I think about it I do have Carcass on my computer. I haven't listened much them yet, but I liked that too [editline]5th March 2011[/editline] I thought you were referring me to iwrestledabearonce and BMTH first. :v:
one could argue iwrestledabearonce fall into the more experimental side of grindcore along with the likes of The Number Twelve Looks Like You and The Locust but probably not. More just experimental deathcore. Also anyone who labels BMTH as grindcore needs to rethink their life [editline]5th March 2011[/editline] on the topic of content: Brutal Truth (Quite possibly the best intro to a music video ever) Anaal Nathrakh- I'd only really say that their last 3 albums fall under grindcore, the older simply awesome black metal. But it's all great. Cephalic Carnage Circle of Dead Children (learnt of these guys because their singer did guest vocals on Genetic Noose by Anaal Nathrakh. He does fantastic squeals) Fuck... I'm Dead Just for the lols, Excrementory Grindfuckers Repulsion (First grindcore band :frogc00l: Only released one album though) Daughters (this band's pretty crazy and noisy, just fyi :v:) As The Sun Sets
yesss Repulsion were the shit it's kinda unfair how most of the time Napalm Death's Scum is credited as the first grindcore album ever despite it being released a year after Repulsion's Horrified
can't stop listeniiiiing
You didn't see them did you?
Nope
I love Dimmu Borgir.
Amogh Symphony's new album The Quantam Hack Code is fucking awesome. It tells an awesome, dark, Sci-Fi story, even through the ending. The music itself is really fucking good, representing the best that Technical/Progressive Death Metal can offer. I recommend it to any of you. I also suppose it is a sequel to their first album, Abolishing The Obsolete System, even though it never says so.
There used to be this "What is grindcore and what is not" video, but it was removed, it had good bands and was a nice reference. I'd link it if I could still find it.

And here is a full band photo:
he looks like an asshole
I think that's just a combination of him striking a cliche metal "bad-ass" pose and him being Indian. :v: Though it's very well he could be an asshole. He does produce progressive music, after all. Progressive fans are pretentious enough - one can only imagine how pretentious a progressive artist can be.
Are all Indians blue?
Are all Indians blue?
Only the ones in James Cameron's vision of India.
Well played
