Too much time :frown:
I bare the almighty forces of Electric Wizard.
Those guys are amazing. last night me and my stepbrother decided to name our band which might or might not become Dopethrone after the electric Wizard album :v: Some seriously awesome shit.
Was at a party last night with a bunch of the metal head scene here in my town and me and the host got stoned and listened to that album for most of the night. Was amazing.

Prepare to hear the finest metal Iceland has to offer; "Party Town" by HAM.
Lol awesome. Vader did the soundtrack to the game "The Witcher" :v: Definitely a more melodic piece than their usual, and it has keyboards.
Joel Grind kicks ass.
I met Joel at a show once.. I don't remember what show but it was at the palladium in Worcester, MA a year or two ago.. they had an amazing set and he was just out in the crowd (i think he stopped at the bar/shwag stand) when me and a couple of kids i was with bumped into him. Anywho, new Kylesa album is amazing (on the topic of Electric Wizard/stoner/doom/sludge metal)
I fucking love Kylesa. As for more Electric Wizard news- the new album is coming out on the first of november.
I saw them on Eistnaflug in 2009 I somehow managed to get in being only 16 years old at the time...
Nice. How were they?
Nice. How were they?
It was amazing, I managed to get up front and was headbanging my ass off and then my head hit the stage. Thankfully I wasnt head banging hard and managed to finish the show albeit with a massive headache. When did Exodus release Exhibition B?! Ohmigod I've been under a rock! :gonk:
holy shit I found metalcore that I actually enjoy listening to earth crisis - all out war then again it sounds more like thrash metal with breakdowns than metalcore but eh
Just discovered these guys, good shit. The County Medical Examiners. Goregrind, they sound A LOT like old carass. And you just cannot go wrong with Carcass. The best bit is, the band actually ARE medical examiners! :v:
I found those guys on last.fm. The bassist doesn't even like goregrind, but he joined the band because there aren't many medical examiners that play bass, apparently. EDIT: I think it's the guy in the middle, he doesn't fit in really well.
Sepultura - Inquisition Symphony This songs blows me away every time I listen to it.
Sepultura=Cavalera bros
not Sepultura without them
I've really gotten into slam death metal recently.
Sepultura - Inquisition Symphony This songs blows me away every time I listen to it.
Check out Apocalyptica's ultra badass chello cover:
Altough it's not your usual metal but Electric Wizard released a new album and it sounds terrific. A killer album, especially Turn off your Mind is a killer track.
Check out Apocalyptica's ultra badass chello cover:
Funny that you mentioned that. I started listening to Apocalyptica when I was 12. At that time I didn't listen to music because I only knew about the mainstream bands (not metal), and I thought they were shit. So Apocalyptica was the first band I seriously started listening to. And because of this, they were the ones who got me into Metallica, Sepultura and Pantera in the first place.

The new Electric Wizard album is amazing.
