To anyone reading this thread and page, I recommend Sanctuary and Nevermore so fucking much. Both are brilliant bands (even though they are almost the "same band"). All their lyrics and all that is brilliant, the song Future Tense that Ved posted has one of the most awesome lyrics in all time, so does Nevermore's song The Tianianmen man. But I've been listening for them both almost 2 years now, and I still can't get enough of them. Those two and Crowbar is what I listening daily.

Fuck yes Sanctuary is amazing.

I never said it was lacking I just find it unnecessary and boring Walking to bus stop, put on opeth "Yep" *Nothing* "Okay that's cool" 2 minutes later "Okay seriously when does the goddamn song start"

The thing is, when it does start, it's fucking awesome. And why put them on if you don't like them?

The songs where there is actually SOMETHING HAPPENING are good Like Burden And no half the time the build up isn;t worth a four minute wait imo

Then you must hate build ups. I fucking love them. Got a song with 40 seconds of excellence and a 4 minute build up. Totally worth it.

No build ups are awesome Opeth's build ups suck and are too long

So you just hate Opeth's style.
