Fuck yeah, new Kreator. Miles better than their older work in my opinion. Between the older albums' poor quality and (in my opinion) crap vocals, I just can't like them - [i]Enemy of God[/i] is their best album to date in my opinion.

Pretty damn good. May be a different genre (post-metal), but I think [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05vfhsMadu0]NahemaH[/url] are a pretty neat Spanish band, too. Especially their sax solos (not this particular song; I can't remember which songs have them, and I'm not going to sit here and hunt them down). :shobon:

Does anyone know of any decent metal that has banjo in it? I did a search on metal archives and got 28 results but I don't know which ones use the instrument more prominently than just in an intro or which ones aren't terrible.

I love Edguy but I've heard loads of people bash them for being generic and mediocre but personally I think they're not close to either. Brilliant band. I missed them live last year :smith:

My favorite power metal band is still Symphony X hands down, followed closely by Kamelot and Blind Guardian, but Edguy is still pretty freaking awesome.

I think Panopticon uses a Banjo on Collapse. Not sure how much it's used. I only really listened to the self-titled and the split with Skagos.
